Spring 2011 UT Health Sciences Nursing Hopefuls

I am a UT Houston hopeful applying for the traditional and accelerated nursing program. I will complete my science prereqs (A&P 1/2) in the summer. I will finish up with Micro and Chem in the fall. I am so focused right now. Anyone else out there? :)

does anybody know how we get rid of the holds or do we just have to wait for the packet because thats 2 WEEKS AWAY ahhhh

The holds will be taken off after you fill out the appropriate forms given to you in your acceptance packet.

Well, here goes one more long night hoping I wake up in the morning to a changed holds/status. Congrats to everyone that has been accepted. I'm getting more and more sure of the fact that I haven't gotten in to UT and will be going to LSC Kingwood. Again, congrats to everyone...hopefully more people have a great day tomorrow by getting some good news.

Not trying to shoot you down. But you busted your ass for good grades in the core classes. Don't you think you should try one more time before settling for an adn program?

I would have done that at the beginning of this year but I rushed through so many classes and much stress to settle to have adn at the end of my name when it requires the same amount of time in nursing school

Hey everybody! I have been following this thread since before my interview (which i had on Sept. 16) but I just signed up for the site the other day.

Congrats to everybody who has had good news so far!

I checked my status earlier today but it still said pending... I didn't look at holds though and now I am wishing I had. The last couple times I have been checking I glance at my status, see that it still says pending, and then log off. Now I can't check it since it's too late. I don't know if I can wait until morning!
