Spring 2011 UT Health Sciences Nursing Hopefuls

I am a UT Houston hopeful applying for the traditional and accelerated nursing program. I will complete my science prereqs (A&P 1/2) in the summer. I will finish up with Micro and Chem in the fall. I am so focused right now. Anyone else out there? :)

Although this is my first post to this thread, I've been keeping up with you guys' posts for the past 2 months and I've really enjoyed everything you all have had to say! It's been quite the journey and I can thankfully say that at 6:08am this morning, I checked my UT link status and I've been granted provisional acceptance!!!!! I didn't feel alone on this crazy ride because of all your wonderful posts, and although I'm glad this part is over, I know we've only just begun! Congratz everyone and God bless!

Btw... I took a screenshot of my UT Link and it is now my desktop background, lol. I'm gonna be on a joy high all day!

It's 6:30 am and mine status says, "you have been admitted to the term above". Spring 2011!!!! yay!! Is it too early to call family!:)

I find it unfair that UT link won't change for people who get rejected, they want to know too, and I wish they'd update their link.

Acceptance! My holds changed yesterday, but it's nice to see the confirmation. Congratulations to everyone else who got in and good luck to those who don't know yet.

Has anyone received an email yet? I thought last year people received an email the same day that their status changed. Mine changed to provisional admission yesterday but I am still waiting for a second form of conformation that I am in just to be sure. I have to notify my place of employment this week because they want to interview me for a promotion that I applied for just in case I didn't get in. I just want to me sure that I am in before I have to break the news that I won't be able to take the promotion and I am going to have to quit in Jan. :).

Congrats to everyone that made it in though and for those who are still waiting keep your head up. They may still be sending out letters and like the student affairs lady said at our interview don't start worrying until the 15th. They haven't sent out anything to those that were waitlisted either.
