Spring 09 Hopefuls

I wanted to start a support thread for all of us that will be applying for the Spring 09 start. My hope is that we keep this thread alive through the process and keep each other encouraged! Nursing School is hard enough to get into!

Where are you applying?

What is your GPA and/or points for your school of choice?

When is your schools deadline?

When does the acceptance letters go out?

What is your plan A, B, C...?

Hi everyone, this is my very first time posting, I'm not even sure this i the right place to start. It seem you all have the answers so here goes... I received my acceptance letter from Cy-fair today. Cy-fair was my second choice, does that mean I didn't get into Kingwood? Please don't get me wrong I'm thrilled, can't stop smiling but I live in Kingwood and have 3 kids so Kingwood would be convenient. Good luck to everyone I'm sure my mailman is glad to not have to see my face everyday waiting!!

It happened. I just found out today that ... I GOT IN. :yeah::lol2:. I was sooooooo happy I cried AND I thanked GOD :bowingpur.

Hi. That is so awesome!! Congrats to you :yeah: I encourage you to join us in the Texas forum we have have a Lone Star Spring 2009 thread started with all of us that came out of lurking talk on. I believe the way it works is you get into one or the other if you apply to both. What were your points? I applied only to Kingwood and have not received a letter yet... :(

I had a score of 11.40 something I know of 5 girls who received rejection letters from kingwood but no one yet with an acception letter, no news is good news!!!

Wow, the bar was truly raised this app period! The cut off has been 11.2 for the past two years. I agree, no news is good news!

Today was my school's lottery drawing results...and yes I was selectedwords just cant describe my emotions today.:crying2::lol2::bugeyes:. I am so greatful. You just don't know all the rumors that were going around about no one gets in on the first try...Well i 'm a witness it can happen:bowingpur.
