Hello everyone! I wanted to go ahead and create a thread for those who plan on applying to southern crescent ASN program for the Spring of 2022. I know the application is due August so lets chat and get aquainted! Im a transfer student and I had a few of my credits. I just needed to take the TEAS and AP 1 and 2, but I was told to retake my english courses 1 and 2 over due to getting a C at my old school. Also that I should pass those classes with A's cuz the program is so competitive and that people with C's hardly never make it in. That definitely scared me but I have faith.

But as far as the TEAS, what are you guys using to study? cuz im so nervous to take it. Overall this is a safe thread, no judgement and to help each other out.

Hey, hoping to see you in orientation! (I’m speaking it into existence) I used the yellow mometrix book, honestly I didn’t study how I should have but I made a 70.7 and we need at least a 66. But the test isn’t as hard as ppl make it I know with proper studying I’ll make in the 90’s.

Hey babe! and Im receiving that ? I hope I see you too love! Were u all don with your prereqs and ready to apply ?

Yes I’m finished with everything. I’m worried about my TEAS score so I may retake that but I have plenty of time to do so. I read a thread on here from last year and seen how many ppl had good numbers but did get accepted ? it worries me but I’m staying optimistic. Are you planning to apply to any other schools or programs?

No babe don’t be worried! Pray about it and you’ll be fine. Now I actually made another thread about applying to Georgia perimeter college as a backup. Last night I realized I might not even be able to. So I’m taking anatomy & physiology 1 w lab at southern crescent and man I think I failed the course. Like not a grade that’ll get me accepted. My professor literally sucks! And if I have to retake ap1, that’s gonna push everything back for me. I won’t be finished at all by the deadline so now IDK what to do and my feelings are definitely hurt. Who did u take for ap1 and 2 and how did u pass cuz I need help!! :(

Hello ladies I also plan on applying here for the ADN program I made a 70 on the TEAS but I’ll be retesting I’m also redoing English 1101 and psych 2103 for better grades

Hello Ladies,

I Transferred from Another College last year. My BA is in Healthcare Admin so I had to take all of my Biology Courses at SCT and now ready to apply for the RN program this August. I am scheduled to take my TEAS exam 5/18 and I am so nervous I pray I score good enough to apply. I also took the 3rd Biology that most schools require because I plan to apply to West GA, Perimeter & Chatahooche. Hearing how competitive the selection process I want to try my best to explore however SCT is my first choice so I'm praying everything works out.

Hey love! I honestly think you’ll be perfectly fine! You took all your important classes so that’s great! As for the TEAS, remain positive and don’t be nervous! I’m studying for TEAS now and I’m a little nervous but ima put it in Gods Hands ❤️

Hello all, how many years is this program? Secondly, what is the schedule like? I am hoping that it is not M-F.

Program is 4 semesters so 2 years also I heard it’s Monday through Thursdays

Hey all! I am also planning on applying to the program in August. Do you know if they accept the highest grade completed of the class? I will be transferring from wgtc since I didn't quite meet their TEAS score requirement. Other than that I have all the classes needed to apply. Good luck to everyone!
