Every so often I'll hear lyrics on songs on the radio that remind me of nursing... Here's a couple of examples I've heard on the radio recently, unfortunately I can't remember who sings either of 'em...:monkeydance:

I remember it well, for I was doing my psych clinicals in the Adolecent Unit of a private psychiactric hospital at the time, and that song is ALL those kids ever played.

For some reason during my last two shifts I've had the "Meow Mix" song in my head.

Come Home by Matchbox twenty. My husband always told me when he saw that it was time for me to leave work that song would go through his head. Now when I'm at work when I'm getting my stuff together that's what I'm singing in my head.

When ever we do a waste through pyxus, one of us will sing "Can I get a Witness?" to get some one to waste with them.

I worked night shift with a nurse that would always sing "Show me the way to go home, I'm tired and I want to go to bed" :zzzzz when we would be getting off in the mornings. I dont know who made that song.

for punching out- Motley Crue 'Home Sweet Home'- "I'm on my way, I'm on my way, Home Sweet Home, Tonight, Tonight, I'm on my way, Oh set me free, Home Sweet Home" also reminds me of pts that have been hospitalized for an extended amount of time and are finally being discharged
