Every so often I'll hear lyrics on songs on the radio that remind me of nursing... Here's a couple of examples I've heard on the radio recently, unfortunately I can't remember who sings either of 'em...:monkeydance:
"I am barely breathing, and I can't find the air..."
"I have become, comfortably numb..."
Anyone got any more?
* Those hands once warmed here, but I have retired them.
I can breathe my own air and I can sleep more soundly - Dave Matthews Band (Don't drink the water)
* Up, up and away…away from me
Well it’s all right…You can all sleep sound tonight
I’m not crazy…or anything… - Five for Fighting (Superman)
* Don't let go
we'll dig a great big hole
Down an endless hole,
We'll both go
You're so blind!
You can't save me this time
Hope comes from inside
And I feel so low tonight - Jimmy Eats World (Drugs or Me)
* Here we are now face to face
Gonna make it very clear
'Cause I don't have time to waste - Mandy Moore (Love Shot)

"Another One Bites the Dust" by Queen, released sometime during the Summer of 1980.I remember it well, for I was doing my psych clinicals in the Adolecent Unit of a private psychiactric hospital at the time, and that song is ALL those kids ever played.
I never got so SICK of a song, in my life!! :lol_hitti
lol,I think that is hilarious!
For some reason during my last two shifts I've had the "Meow Mix" song in my head.
Come Home by Matchbox twenty. My husband always told me when he saw that it was time for me to leave work that song would go through his head. Now when I'm at work when I'm getting my stuff together that's what I'm singing in my head.
When ever we do a waste through pyxus, one of us will sing "Can I get a Witness?" to get some one to waste with them.
