Yuck! Who does this? So my husband and I are on a long weekend in Taos, NM. Friday night we were at a local bar listening to a band. In walk a group of women in their mid-twenties. They appeared to have just gotten off work, as they were all wearing scrubs. They hung out at the bar for several hours, drinking, shooting pool, dancing, flirting with men. Wearing their scrubs. Yuck! Of course, after having a couple beers, myself, I was tempted to approach them and ask if they knew how gross and unhygienic that was, but I'm not a big person, and these women were all somewhat large and could have broken me like kindling, and luckily I hadn't had so much to drink that I was that foolish (my husband, of course, bet me $5 to say something to them).
All I could think of all night was fomites!

Bottomline, its a matter of opinion lol
wow, this has been the most judgmental thread i have seen yet. there's a big difference between saying something looks trashy and that someone who wears it is trash. i give men wearing sweats a wide berth. in my experience the probability of them being either deranged or under the influence is quite high. i wouldn't want others to have that perception of me.
oh yippee! now i only have to figure out whether my husband is deranged, under the influence, simply trashy, or all three...
he used to wear them to the gym when he weight lifted, once in awhile he'd wear them to walk the dog, but for about four months, he's
worn cargo sweats in navy or black almost exclusively to let a venous stasis ulcer heal without added pressure (he's a type-1 diabetic) so
which sleeze type is he? hmmm... it seems there aren't any other choices at hand.
i just called him and asked him which he thought he was! he said the first two! he said he might switch professions and become a middle aged, hog ridin', sweat wearin' bad boy... this comment was made while he was working on the draft for his latest book!
Here's my
I wear my scrubs anywhere I feel like it, I also wear sweats. No, I don't think I am cool, No I don't really care what anyone around me wears, and no I don't feel like I am contaminating the world. That being said, on the news today a worker at a local sugar plant was diagnosed with active TB, I bet he wasn't wearing scrubs. Hmmmm does this mean no one should eat sugar???
BTW this thread made me laugh....some people are just way too serious
