SJVC Spring 2022 Nursing Program

Hi All,

Anyone else apply for the SJVC program that starts April 2022? I applied, and had my interview a few days ago. Still waiting on the financial aid call, when I followed up they stated they were running behind on calling applicants. They won't notify anyone of their acceptance until the week of February 28th, that is if they are not running behind. I pray that one of the programs I applied for has a spot for me.

I went to nurses boutique in Fresno, no dickies Caribbean blue in stock ?.  But I did find some nurse mates and a white lab jacket.

I didn't see anything about covering tattoos I was going to ask on the 15th. I figure Ill just buy white underarmor unless they want me to wear a lab jacket 24/7

They have some old school vans that are leather.  and they are all non-slip due to the rubber bottom.  I was unsure if it was a 100% leather top or a leather/canvas mix, but their website says all leather.  worse comes to worse ill have to just go to a supply store and buy some

There are two ways to create a special area for your cohort, that are Terms-of-Service approved.

what type of questions do they ask during the interview?

What’s a weakness/strength of yours, reason for wanting to be a nurse, a time you may have had a conflict with a co worker and how you solved it, tell me about yourself, I can’t really remember what else they asked me..

Hi everybody, I just got the email on 3/4/2022 telling me that I was put on the Alternate list. Do any of you guys know roughly how many people they add onto the Alternate list?

@Sdney Taco  I feel like they use a question bank. 
@JayK I am unsure. If I were you I would definitely call and ask what number you are on the alternate list. Just so you know where you are at.

I called and emailed the advisor and (MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME) a week ago but I have not heard anything back as of yet. I am sure that they are busy with getting the currently enrolled situated. I will try again next week and see what they say.

Honestly, that was an issue I had the whole time.. no one ever returned my calls or emails. It was kinda frustrating. I declined my spot on Thursday for the program so fingers crossed you are high up on the list and will get in! As far as how many alternates that they choose, I am not 100%, Good luck to you and I hope you get in!

I would go in person and talk to them but it is hard to do so when I live in Fresno and I work graveyard. My last name starts with K so I am not sure where I fall on that list. Depends on ow many people are on it and what their last name is LOL. Hopefully you got in another program elsewhere that is cheaper.

Hey girlie have you heard anything back about your status as an alternative?
