And it is driving me CRAZY! I leave mid-day, so people are in and out of my office even when I am not here to grab band-aids, ice packs, and apparently TISSUES!!! Seems like an annoying, petty complaint, but I have sick kids in and out all day and I will go to reach for the box and it is gone. I just put a new one on my desk yesterday morning and the entire box walked sometime between 2 pm yesterday and 8 am this morning. They tissues are stored two floors up in a big storage closet so it is a PITA to go get them, and we are not allowed to hoard them. Grrrr....rant over

People are sometimes so inconsiderate with other people's stuff. Could you just put your stuff away somewhere in your office, so out of sight - out of mind!?!?
Better still, get a big roll of duct tape and TAPE the tissue box down securely to the tabletop. Maybe they'll get the hint?
Of course, do you really know who's taking it?

Last year I had several items go missing: a brand new tube of TAO, disinfectant wipes, handfuls of cough drops...
I finally put a sticky note on my counter that said "PLEASE stop taking my stuff!!"
Did the trick.

I love you guys. Hang in there!!! We finally had to lock everything up because band aids and mouthwash walked away one evening.

The water cooler disappeared from my office one summer. Desk chairs, wheelchairs and even the scale have walked away since I have been here.

I put the case on the floor behind my door because I got sick of people waking through my office all the time, being nosy, and complaining about everything. I did finally get rid of lost and found, thankfully.

I have one staff member that takes handfuls of the cough drops. Drives me bonkers! Like dude, they are here for an as-needed basis, not to stock your pockets every time you have a tickle in your throat!

I started locking up my tissues and Clorox wipes. They kept on disappearing. I think the teachers send the kids/students to come down and get them from my office. Unfortunately, I have a very limited budget for my school and my tissues and wipes come out of this budget.

I let them take tissues and such, but things like medication for the staff, I tell them they need to get their own crap, because I don't have enough budget to buy them Tylenol.

I have almost 1300 students and an $800 budget. Hard to make it stretch even when people don't help themselves to stuff. SPED department has already "borrowed" 3 boxes of gloves this year. We will pay you back when our order comes in. Problem is they never give the office manager an order. I told them with box #3 that this was the last I can spare this year.
