my wife poured some NSAIDS for me the other day

when i was hurting

she poured them into a med cup, handed me the med cup and a glass of water

and stood there to watch me take them :)

Why is it that lab never calls to tell you that your patient came up VRE positive before you spend an entire shift going in and out of their room? :banghead:

No, but it seems like a large number of - shall we say, "unique" - personalities hire on in mental health units - like the LPN who sprinkled salt on the windowsill to keep the evil spirits out of a schizophrenic patient's room.

My psych nursing instructor told me that you have to be crazy to be a psych nurse. I'm not sure it's a requirement for the job, but I can certainly see why he thought so!
