I start my ADN program the 21st and I have like 40 chapters I need to read before my first test on the 30th. Should I start reading the content now or should I wait until I start my lecture the 21st? I just feel like 9 days isn't enough time to absorb all the info but I don't want to be confused without being in lecture first. I also realize it's pretty impossible to read everything. I'm pretty nervous about school as it is.
Thanks!

Of course you should start reading now.

definitely start studying now. Read as much as you can, so when you go to lecture you'll be familiar what the instruction goes over because you've read beforehand.

If you encounter anything you don't understand in your reading, write it down so you can ask in class.

Read now. Lecture time is for clarification of topics you didn't understand. Also focus on the powerpoints.

Generally you do all the reading for a class before the class ever happens. Then you clarify your questions during the lecture. Then you focus your studying based on the lecture so that you can pass the test.
