I would recommend saunder's comprehensive book for studying. It summarizes the Nursing training we had in one book. approach it like Suzanne's plan.
Kaplan strategy book is also good. If you can access the Kaplan Q-trainers, it will help a lot. I passed my Nclex with flying colors using those materials.
Good luck!

I too recommend Saunders for a review book and doing Suzannes Plan (see her sticky). I also recommend doing lots of questions from the learning extension. I did this 3 wks before I took my test and passed with flying colors. Good luck

My favorite book that I did probably 75% of my studying from was Davis. the other 25% was a mix of Saunders/AtI and Mosbys.
Just out of curiosity why are you waiting till December?? that seems awfully far out?? I am a big believer in the sooner the better.

first of all, thanks you for your advice ^^ it helps me ~
yes, I do agree with you that the sooner the better ^^ but I have to wait until Dec bcoz I have just sent my application form to BON CA on March. Besides,I am in Asia and someone here told me that it takes time around 6 months that I'll be eligible..after that..I have to spend another month to get ATT. Therefore, I plan to take NCLEX-RN on Dec ^^

You are aware that Ca will not issue you with a license as you have no SSN? Suggest a read in the International forum as much has been written and also suggest you check out retrogression as you are looking at years waiting so may want to consider another country and gain experience. Once you have eligibility ATT doesn't take that long

What the girls and I did in my class was all buy different NCLEX books and we would trade the CDs that came with them and download them on our computers so that way we had all different ones but we didnt have to spend tons of money. We ended up with like saunders, Lippincotts 7th and 8th, Kaplan and others it was a good idea I thought.
