I wear NB for school and work. So comfortable but always lookign for that perfect shoe. I love them. For thes schools that are strict with shoes, I say forget them. The shoes are on MY feet not theirs. I have to be comfortable, and besides I pay for them to sit in their chairs at their wonderful desks.

BTW...Z-Coils are around $200 a pair, but if they are comfortable, might not be bad to just try them.

I picked New Balance, because you're right. If they don't like the bits of grey, I've got white nail polish....

New Balance, the highest number you can afford. They are simply amazing and I never feel like I'm aching after a clinical day or work day.

I wear Burkies, but I am always looking for an alternate shoe to switch up with.Has anyone tried the Dansko shoes? They are suppose to be good for your back and legs.

Running shoes always work well

A Reebok Princess is lightweight and gives support.

It works if you have high arches.

I've seen some staff nurses wearing waterproof clogs

with designs cut in them. You would take your

chances as far as your feet staying dry.

I have all different kinds of clogs to use for work.

They work for comfort and support.

Yeah guys! snicker snicker.....Buy a pair of Reebok Princess shoes!!!!:D

I wear my ol' DC Skateboard shoes. Very comfortable for those 12 hour shifts. They're far from white though (black and blue) as I've seen a lot of posts pertaining to white shoes. Why do the majority wear white shoes anyways?

I want to thank you all for your input on this thread.

I have been accepted into UA ABSN and start Jun 9th. I have 7.5 EEE feet and can *never* find shoes in my size in any store (NB skips 3E). So I know I have to get my shoe choice made soon.

The Standing Comfort site has 3 pairs that look like they fit and match my preferences. I will spend money on my shoes because I know that if your feet hurt you will be miserable.

Thanks again,

Mark

Just remember that an expensive pair of shoes can make your feet hurt just as much as a cheap pair....make sure to TRY THEM ON no matter what.
