what shoes do you wear...

Published

so what do you guys wear?? i start clinicals next week and im not sure what to buy...

I wear sandals, like Teva sandals.

Are there rules that you must wear shoes? - there aren't in Denmark

I once tried with shoes on and it's just too hot.

The ones that dont wear sandals wear, I don't know the word for it, but those type of shoes santaclaus also wears - offcourse they are made of rubber and leather instead of wood, but anyway. I don't think they are very comfortable, so I don't like those either.

I'm a sandal-man. Offcourse they have the disadvantage that if you get some disgusting stuff (blood, vomit, urin etc) on you it hits the feet, and not just the shoe

I had to find a comfortable pair of all white shoes in a 13. Not too much of a problem, but try seeking them out with width of a 4E.

I love New Balance shoes and they fit me like a glove but I don't like any of their all white styles, so I went with a Wide Width Klogz Closed back shoe. It's rubber, and stretchy and they don't hurt my feet much til I take em off, and 2 days in a row is even worse. They stretch but not really far enough. I would love to be able to afford a pair or Birkies to use and have them custom fit but hell, ya do what you can afford and at this point that aint a lot. LOL

hey kiyatylese i got my all white shox @ Foot locker!

I went to the Vans website and made my own pair of all-white shoes. There are the same as the ones I skated in all through high school and my feet feel great.

Hey Chadley-check out zappos.com. I did a search of their men's work shoes and found 4 styles available in white in a 13 4E, one of which is not New Balance:

Although I am female, I wear a very unusual shoe size and can almost always find something that meets my needs at Zappo's. Plus, they don't charge for shipping, and include a free return shipping label in the package, so you can buy and try on several pairs if necessary to find the shoe that works for you.

Good luck! And take care of your feet!

NEW BALANCE!!!! But not ANY kind... you have to find the "running" shoes with the highest # (they name their shoes by numbering them). Make sure you go to a New Balance store (and not a store in the Mall) because they'll measure the width of your foot, along with the length. Also, they help you understand how you walk, and fit a personal padding inside. Yeah, they aren't the most stylish of shoes... but after wearing some J's, shox, af1, and even max's for 12 hours... it doesnt come close to New Balance... I'm NEVER on my feet for extended periods of time without them. :twocents:

I black Dansko clogs but I've been looking all over for a particular pair that I saw someone wearing at my hospital. I saw them on a nurse passing by and thought that they looked neat and comfy. They're open in the back w/ a raised heel (looks like a spring as a heel). They're supposed to provide really good back support. I can't find them anywhere? Does anyone know what I'm talking about??
Ooooh, I've seen these toot and they come highly recommended.

Guess where my first paycheck is going?

I have size 12 feewt with very high arches. The Rockports are not doing it for me in clinicals, and I am getting back aches. What works better?

Merrell man here. Comfortable!

Not in Clinicals yet, but I work in a Chiropractors office, so I wear scrubs and propper shoes. I like the New Balance White all leather walking shoes. Hold up well, and have good arch support.

I found these from zappos. I have a wide foot so i need a good size for comfort. These look pretty good. Anyone have experience from Georgia Boot before?
