what shoes do you wear...

Published

so what do you guys wear?? i start clinicals next week and im not sure what to buy...

Just remember that an expensive pair of shoes can make your feet hurt just as much as a cheap pair....make sure to TRY THEM ON no matter what.

I want to eche Steve on this one. I would never buy shoes I hadn't tried on first. A comfortable pair of shoes help out when you have a rough 12-13 hour (or more) shift.

BTW~~It's Danskos for me. My wife pokes fun at me for the way they look. They are not the "manliest" looking shoes, but I really don't care. My feet are happy.:smokin:

I will be wearing nike shox, they are very comfortable, and besides I already have several pair.:nuke:

We have to have all white leather, so that hinders ones choices! I started off with a pair of New Balance walking shoes, found there wasn't enough cushion. So switched over to a pair of Etonics, and they are great. Ty Zappos and free shipping both wasy, lol

i just got myself nike shox r4 white thanks to this thread lol

My school requires blue or white shoes without open toes or laces. They specifically recommended Dankso and Klogs as two brands. The Klogs were comfortable but didn't breathe so well, I noticed, as they are polyurethane. They did feel good though. The Dankos did not come in blue in a 43, plus the high arch killed my feet. That said, I found two pairs of men's nursing shoes online: Rockers "Michael" and the Moc from Merrill. Unfortunately both only come in white (which will look great with the dark blue pants i am to wear!). I have both here at home now, I am not sure which I like better. The Rockers have an interesting cleat-like undersole that sorta feels like they give you a massage as you are walking. They are light and sort of spring you forward. The Merrills are nice too, feel like a traditional walking shoe. Both are leather and have breathable lining materials. Neither have laces, they are slip-ons.

Hope this helps anyone who is still looking at options.

about 100 bucks at finishline, you can't beat the confort of these shoes, to make it top's just buy doctor sholls gel insert and add to it, you will NEVER wear anything else, plus they wash easy, the shoe is confortable, the inside overall feel is just like if your feet were gently wraped by a conforter!

you can go to the mall try a shox NZ or a shox R4, both of there have the same spring map so are the most confortable shox...

the one that is the hardest to find, and a white one is rare, (i have a gray-black and white one) are the 12 shox ones!!!!

if you like the old school classic look, the have this leather classic nike with shox also and it is maped R4 - NX also...

to get the most of a shox it must to be either NX or R4 they are soft, and made for you to run, so they take wear and tear, weight and balance to the next level..

and no matter how old they are the shox will not get compact on you, nor will the inside of the shoe give on you! my oldest pair is actually 7 years old already, a white "vince"
