  1. I'm 19. I started right after I graduated High school. i felt the same way you did. I never guessed I'd become friends with women over twice my age. youngest in my class, outnumbered by women 12 to 1. It's not a big deal at all. and it definately wouldn't be a bad place to be if you are single
  2. I am a teenager, but i'm also a nursing student. during winter/springbreak/summer my room is clean and organized and a pleasure to be in. during school it is just MAYHEM. textbooks and papers iv kits empty bottles everywhere. And yes, I hate when my mom goes in there. If something gets moved, i'll never find it.
  3. My experience was positive. I was observing outpatient surgery for a day. Not OB. the surgical nurse informed me that there would be a c-section on OB. the anesthesiologist escorted me to the surgery with him. I introduced myself to the mother and asked if it was alright for me to observe. she was fine with it. her mother was with her. It probably would've been different if she brought the father, or if it weren't her 3rd child (2nd c. section) Amazing experience.
  4. Nike air-force 1's. White, and old-school.
  5. I love this website. This is my first post. I'm 19 years old. finishing my 3rd quarter of a 2 year RN program. one of 4 men, in a class of about 60 students. And I'm the youngest. I work part-time at a carry-out grocery store about 12 hrs a week. Some people tell me I need more hospital experience besides clinicals, other people tell me I don't need a job b/c they were trained on the job after graduating. Do I need more experience than just school clinicals? if so, how did your hospital schedule fit around your class time? thanks, Matt
