Hi congrats on getting an interview!
The interview with CV was pretty intense ...maybe around 25 questions and most of them clinical! Review stuff like cardiac, respiratory and most of all postop...hope this helps and let me know if you have more questions
good luck..just smile and be yourself!

I emailed a Sharp recruiter who stated that different departments/hospitals are moving at different paces. I applied for Grossmont PCU/Tele and Residency...she said those calls won't even start until mid to late April. Keeping my fingers crossed!

I applied to the Grossmont Residency as well, and Mary Birch NICU. I also heard that it takes at least a month after you apply to hear back from them. Let's hope we get phone calls in the next couple of weeks!!!

I applied too, but I already know I don't have a chance . I only have an associate and no previous experience. They probably received hundreds of applications.......sorry to be so negative, I've been looking for a job for a while with no luck and today I feel really down.Anyway good luck to all!!!!!Daniela

There are too many schools in San Diego offering degrees. I know of people who haven't found positions 1 to 2 years out of school. The nursing shortage is alive and well, but it applies to those with experience.

Hi Nicole15,
I'm thinking you had your interview for L&D today. Wishing you lots of luck! How did it go??????? Any interview advice or tips would be greatly appreciated. Thanks so much!
Hopefully all of us get calls for interviews soon!
I got an email from the recruiter regarding the Grossmont ED position requesting my final transcript and it said that if I was selected for an interview I would be contacted by Apr. 20. So, it's still too early to give up hope everyone!
Hi SDChick~
Thanks for the well wishes! It went great! The interviewers were such nice women and it was very relaxed and conversational. A few clinical questions/scenarios, mostly behavioral questions. I strongly advise studying the John Hopkins Interview Guide! I'm hoping to hear something in the next couple of weeks! Keep us posted if you hear anything, and good luck everyone!
