Hi everyone,
I just applied to Sharp's New Grad Residency Winter 2010/2011. *Fingers, Toes, and Eyes crossed that we get interviews*
Just wondering if anyone else had some trouble with the online application process. I completed the online application, and SAVED it; however, I noticed that if I wanted to review my entries by clicking on "Online Application," all entries were blank. I also wish that we could view uploaded documents (cover letters and transcript) just so I know that they really do have it on file.
Anyway, I look forward to hearing about any progress with this residency.
so i didn't get sharp memorial but one of my classmates did. I was bummed at first, but i already had a back up job offer on the table, so everything worked out okay for me. its only per-diem but i'm 24weeks prego so i am thinking it is likely for the best. Everything happens for a reason :)
Doran sorry to hear but congrats on your pregnancy and I do believe that things happen for a reason!
Also does anyone know how many people are usually interviewed for one unit /new grad program?
I am also getting worried that I realized Sharp makes job offers as they interview their candidates not after they are done interviewing everyone!
Hi Laura06baby: When's your interview for Chula Vista? Man, im still waiting for them to call me. Hoping they give me a chance to @ least interview. May I ask what your background is...do you have hospital exp already? (CNA, LVN, etc), BSN or ASN?
Doran002: I also believe things happen for a reason! Congrats on the baby on the way, now that is exciting! It's great you have a per diem job, so that will work out great for you at this time of your life. :)
I wish everyone the best in their job hunt...All I know is that I really really want to get into a new grad program this time around. **crosses fingers**
To all those who were talking about Sharp Grossmont. I had an interview in the NICU this past Thursday. There are 4 positions open and 288 applicants. I'm not sure when I should hear back about the positions, but am surely waiting with my fingers crossed!
I also applied for Grossmont ER and have not heard back yet.

I never even got an email stating that they received my portfolio. I really do not have any hope. I sent an email asking if they received my portfolio-- no reply. I alos applied to PCU, Grossmont.
