Hi everyone,
I just applied to Sharp's New Grad Residency Winter 2010/2011. *Fingers, Toes, and Eyes crossed that we get interviews*
Just wondering if anyone else had some trouble with the online application process. I completed the online application, and SAVED it; however, I noticed that if I wanted to review my entries by clicking on "Online Application," all entries were blank. I also wish that we could view uploaded documents (cover letters and transcript) just so I know that they really do have it on file.
Anyway, I look forward to hearing about any progress with this residency.
yes the interview was tough ...a panel of 6 if i REMEMBER correctly.....make sure you review a lot of clinical info ...I used the ATI book I hadgod luck ...let me know if you have other questions
Hi Laura... Thanks for the reply. Did you have the interview at Sharp Chula Vista? Were there a lot of behavioral questions too? coz I read from different posts that most of the interview questions are behavioral. I just don't know if it just depends on which Sharp the interview is. Did the interview last for an hour? Also, what's an ATI book? Is it the same as the Kaplan review book? Thanks!
hi ...
the interview lasted about 30-40min
every member of the panel asked about 3 questions so they went around the room about 3 times
the questions were behavioral and clinical. this interview had the most questions I ever had in an interview...questions about different situations such as ...what would you delegate to your cna, about patients with chest pain, post op patients....I used my ati book because it was an easy way to review different topics..but i guess you can use any book just think about your patient population on a medsurg/pcu floor...have certain patients/situations in mind to which you can go if you need examples etc
other questions: what would you do if a family member of your patient is not happy etc
