Christina from greys anatomy is my favorite tv nurse. She can stay professional and gets the job done, but underneath that hard shell, she cares about her patients, her friends and family.

Specializes in kids.

And who could forget Carol Hathaway on ER???? (Julianna Margulies)

Specializes in School Nursing.

Nurse Jackie or Carla from Scrubs!

Not so much as how they represented nursing as a whole (since they're two very different characters, although when you think about personality, maybe not as different as initially thought) but because they were entertaining while being very "real".

Hot Lips Houlihan from MASH. She knew how to be a great nurse among all the men during war. Grit, Sass, and fun!

I like Laverne from Scrubs. She takes no guff. She stands up for what she believes. She even has words for Perry. She is my kinda nurse. I am sure we would be friends even if she wouldn’t admit it:)

Christina was a doctor

My favorite TV nurse is Zoe from Nurse Jackie. She's new, naive, and quiet. Even while working with some very strong, overpowering personalities, she speaks up when she needs to. She doesn't let her preceptor manipulate her, or coworkers bully her. She stands up for what she thinks is right, no matter what. She is an awesome nurse.

Specializes in Pediatrics.

Jesse Salander "Mama" from Code Black. He is encouraging, calm, and treats everyone the same. His coworkers respect him and often seek his professional expertise.

Terry in Threes Company

(Priscilla Barnes)...

...because she proves nurses aren’t rich! Even she had to split a $600 rent bill 3 ways! Nurses work hard because we like what we do; not because we are over paid!

My vote also goes to Jesse Salander from Code Black. What ever happened to that series any way?

I Love Lucy... Lucille Ball
