Dana Delaney from China Beach! I loved that show!

Nurse Julia, from the TV series, JULIA. She was a beautiful African American widow who was dedicated to a stressful job yet she raised and nurtured her young son by herself.

All the nurses who worked with Dr. House on the TV show. ?

I love me some Carla from scrubs. I like the bigger lady as well but can’t not remember her name at the moment. It defiantly catches some of the nurse attitudes and advocating for our patients

First off, the HBO show called Getting On is by far the most realistic medical comedy I've ever seen. I love DiDi. First off, she's an LVN, so I love that we LPNs and LVNs finally get some recognition. Second, she's by far the sanest person on the show. LOVE YOU DIDI♡

Edie Falco from Nurse Jackie. She is a great nurse and very funny. I would love to have a nurse like her. Something she said that is so true was 'Doctors don't heal, they diagnose — we heal,' she says of nurses.

Nurse Jackie is my favorite. My reason is that it shows a reality that can happen to any healthcare worker and should not be taken lightly. In the U.S. over a quarter of a million nurses have a drug addiction problem. Our profession is hard. We see heartache, death, and we give so much of ourselves on the job day after day. Each of us need a healthy way to deal with it. Jackie shows how a drug habit can ruin your life.

Specializes in Critical Care.

Major Hoolihan hands down!

I LOVE THAT SHOW. It’s a shame it ended and was completely underrated.
