SFSU ELMSN Fall 2023

Hi everyone,

I just submitted my application to SFSU's ELMSN program for fall 2023. I didn't see a thread for this, so creating one here if you'd like to share your experiences, updates, and decisions! Based on the previous thread for fall 2022 it doesn't seem like we will hear from admissions until April. Best of luck to everyone!

Yeah,  the accelerated one is more expensive, but they suspended it this time.

Yeah I just spoke to the admissions and they said it's about 24k for the whole program! And that we should be hearing from them very soon! I have a feeling it's going to be Friday! But good luck to everyone!!

Hi Everyone,

Just found this thread. I applied with a 4.0 GPA , excellent personal statement and working in healthcare. I was thinking "who wouldn't accept me?!" LOL... but now I see you all are saying there were 600 applicants... yikes! That means only 1 out of every 30 applicants or 3.3% chance of being accepted. I don't envy the people who have to make these decisions, no wonder it's taking so long!  I will be prepared, as many of you are, to adapt if I'm not accepted, we'll see!

I don't want to move ?

That's how I started to feel after interviews. The more I spoke with other students, the more I started to feel like everyone is qualified. Everyone who has gotten to this point is because they are doing well and have lots of good qualities.

yes, Bubbbleeel10, we have all done well. So many of us would do great in this program, but only a small handful will be given the opportunity.

I have read the SFSU ABSN 2023 thread; they got acceptance letters today.

Whoaw, maybe for SFSU ELMSN 2023 in the next following days.

The BSN also received their acceptance letters yesterday. Hopefully the ELMSN and MSN letters are going out today or by the end of this week. Please let us all know if you receive an acceptance or if your admission status gets updated! Good luck everyone ☺️

I feel that. Checking my email and portal like a crazy woman....still nothing. Maybe tomorrow?
