SFSU ELMSN Fall 2023

Published

Hi everyone,

I just submitted my application to SFSU's ELMSN program for fall 2023. I didn't see a thread for this, so creating one here if you'd like to share your experiences, updates, and decisions! Based on the previous thread for fall 2022 it doesn't seem like we will hear from admissions until April. Best of luck to everyone!

I'm from TX, but I saw that the requirement is to be a CA resident OR qualify for in-state tuition. Do you know how this works? My significant other lives out in SF and I plan on moving here if accepted, but IDK if I'm even eligible to apply.

Hmmmm not exactly but I know you need to live in the state for at least a year (and prove it) before you can declare yourself as a resident. I'd recommend getting some bills in your name and registering to vote at your significant other's address in order to establish some kind of residency in CA or else you probably won't qualify. When I had to prove my residency (for another school) I had to submit 2 different forms of proof so make sure to do that, like the two examples I gave above.

Hi, I'm applying now, but I was wondering if a CV is required and if just having a resume was fine.

The way I interpret CV is basically an in depth resume, so for me I just submitted a detailed 2 page resume.
