SFSU ELMSN Fall 2023

Hi everyone,

I just submitted my application to SFSU's ELMSN program for fall 2023. I didn't see a thread for this, so creating one here if you'd like to share your experiences, updates, and decisions! Based on the previous thread for fall 2022 it doesn't seem like we will hear from admissions until April. Best of luck to everyone!

Appreciate for starting this thread. I also submitted my application on 1/05/2023. It's my first time applying to nursing school(SFSU-ELMSN). I just found out today that USF is offering ME-MSN, too, but I think it is too late for me to submit my application. God bless everyone.

Hi!!

I submitted my application last week. First time applying to nursing school for me too.  I've been a certified medical assistant since 2007, so definitely not new to healthcare.

hi all,

firstly, good luck to everyone with the application process! 

I was reviewing my application earlier today and realized I put in the wrong SF State ID #... I accidentally used my CSU Application ID # instead. I have no idea what I should do?? any suggestions??

Do you have your SFSU ID already? If you submitted your nursingcas, you can't change it, but I think you can call the SFSU grad studies division about it.

I'm still waiting for my SF State ID unfortunately ? .. which was a completely stupid mistake on my part. I had taken the ID# on the CSU application welcoming email when I started my CSU application as my SF State ID# and hadn't realized they were two completely different numbers until recently. 

but I'll still try to contact SFSU grad studies to see if they're willing to still consider my app. it'd be a real bummer if I don't qualify this year because of this

When did you submit your Cal state application? Because I received my SFSU ID after two days, I submitted my cal state application.

Hi everyone! I also applied for SFstates ELMSN program. I'm so nervous and feel like time is going to be super slow waiting until April LOL but I'm excited. I graduated last Spring from CSUEB and this is my first time applying to a nursing program, . I was hoping to apply to UCSF but they're pausing the MEPN program until 2025 (bummer!)
