  1. How are you all liking your programs? Was it what you all expected? How are you all liking nursing so far? Anyone who got rejected is reapplying this year?
  2. Such a good post! University of San Diego also offers a MSN.
  3. https://www.csub.edu/nursing/programs/BSN/index.html an option for those who got rejected/waitlisted. this is my personal opinion based on experience. At this point, most programs already have their people. Students had to commit and pay deposit to save their spot. They people waitlisted are in case of a crazy life emergency and someone dropping last minute. I would say prepare to hear a no last minute (last year, it was a day after orientation). It was heartbreaking to see the picture of the cohort start and me still having hopes. Just FYI. But don't get discouraged! There's always next year. You got this!
  4. I wish the best and most success to everyone. Don't give up! Last year, I got rejected and this year, I have several acceptances. It can be heartbreaking. I hope you all can find peace and trust that the future will bring better news.
  5. In the website, it is not clear if you need to reapply. I feel like you don't but if I get in, I will call before I decide where to go. Some schools like UPenn, there is not application. Other schools like usd, it's a totally different program and you need to apply.
  6. Michael, which other schools did you apply to? Does anyone know, the program is three years long correct? But after everyone graduating from this program is eligible to continue with the NP certificate? There is not a second application?
  7. Where are you all at? Is this your top choice, only choice? Waiting on other schools? From the area?
  8. Yes IDK if they automated or scheduled emails or if someone was working from home LOL but it was 4am
  9. Last year, they released their results April 14 at 4AM LOL IDK why. So we might wake up to an email. It will be twelve long hours.
  10. Hi you all! I hope I have the right group ? I think you are finishing up the program now and I was wondering if you could share about your experiences at USD. I got admitted and loved the faculty, the program, and the school itself. I am just worried about how high the tuition is as most like I won't qualify for any loans due to income from 2021. How do you all feel? Was it worth it for you? Do you wish you had chosen a different program? Any tips to succeed? Any scholarships I could apply to? My other options are UCI and UC Davis. Any feedback would be appreciated.
  11. That's how I started to feel after interviews. The more I spoke with other students, the more I started to feel like everyone is qualified. Everyone who has gotten to this point is because they are doing well and have lots of good qualities.
  12. Maybe we can ask on the thread from last year? Some of those students ended at sfsu
  13. UCD has 30, UCI had 20 and they increased it this year to 40, USD has 40. The biggest cohort size I have heard is 60, but most schools 30 or less.
