It will be a long wait until April to hear back from SFSU! I applied to USF's ME-MSN program in September and heard in November that I was waitlisted. Ultimately I did not make the cohort for this Spring, unfortunately. It was my second time applying. I applied to Samuel Merrit's ELMSN-FNP program in early December and await their decision (by March, hopefully).

Based on comments from the last application cycle, it does not seem like there will be interviews. Not sure, however. I expect we will hear an admissions decision in April, and that will be that.

Hi everyone, I just submitted my application to SFSU's ELMSN program for fall 2023. I didn't see a thread for this, so creating one here if you'd like to share your experiences, updates, and decisions! Based on the previous thread for fall 2022 it doesn't seem like we will hear from admissions until April. Best of luck to everyone!

Has anyone else heard that the MSN Cohort for Spring is filled? I have not received any email, and am still waiting to hear if a spot has opened up. I'm currently waitlisted. I keep checking the admissions portal and my inbox!

Hi, I'm applying to ELMSN programs at USF, SFSU, Samuel Merritt in this fall's admission cycle for program starts in 2023. Just curious if anyone has been through a similar admissions cycle with these schools. USF's deadline was much earlier, 9/1, whereas Samuel Merritt's is 12/1, and SFSU's is 1/15. So, if I get accepted into USF's program (the decision comes the end of Nov/early Dec the latest), I will likely have to inform them if I accept or not before the other decisions come in in the new year. It's disappointing that the admissions windows are so far off.
