SFSU ELMSN Fall 2023

Hi everyone,

I just submitted my application to SFSU's ELMSN program for fall 2023. I didn't see a thread for this, so creating one here if you'd like to share your experiences, updates, and decisions! Based on the previous thread for fall 2022 it doesn't seem like we will hear from admissions until April. Best of luck to everyone!

I have a feeling tomorrow is the day checking from the last cohorts they all got notified mid April on a Friday! And also check your SFSU portal I saw that they even change your application status to accepted!

Last year, they released their results April 14 at 4AM LOL IDK why. So we might wake up to an email. It will be twelve long hours.

I feel the exact same way LOL like AT LEAST waitlist me pleaaaase ?

and OMG 4 am!?!? That's kinda wild but I'll be happy to wake up and know so fingers crossed ?

Yes IDK if they automated or scheduled emails or if someone was working from home LOL but it was 4am

Where are you all at? Is this your top choice, only choice? Waiting on other schools? From the area?

I am from the Bay Area and yes SFState is my top option! I hope all of us gets great news tomorrow!!

The only choice, and the only school I've applied with, because I ran out of time after I finished four courses last fall 2022. My first plan is to apply for ABSN, but I want to like have a sort of review before taking the TEAS; I don't have time at all since the application deadline is the same as ELMSN, then I ended up applying for ELMSN, doesn't require TEAS, which I think it's a good program too.
