Sexy male scrubs

Nurses Men

Published

Pardon the attention grabbing headline, but I have a frivolous question about men's scrubs. I'm a guy (as is obvious from the title), a nursing student, and I work in a local hospital as a clinical tech/nursing assistant/patient care tech, what have you. I've always had the cheapest durable scrubs, but over the last 3 & 1/2 months, I've lost 25lbs, with 10 more to go for my fitness goal, and for the first time, in like forever, I'm looking kinda... well... hot.

I need to change out my entire wardrobe, but I'd also like to look attractive in scrubs. Not just for work, but I volunteer frequently too, and I'm trying to live it up (seriously, never had this going for me before...), and I'd like to be attractive in scrubs as well. What are good brands and styles that provide some added sex appeal while remaining professional?

*FULL DISCLOSURE*

I have an ex that works on a different floor, and she hasn't seen me since our break up, 25lbs heavier. I would like to look great if and when she does.

Not really sure how scrubs can be very sexy. I guess well-fitting, male cut scrubs can look flattering but I wouldn't call them sexy. Maybe mess with your hair a bit and use fake tanner.

Haha! Thats what I'm talking about. Guys! lets all go get one, sterility be darned, thats why they make special gowns. Be sure it fits our arms nice and tight however. Don't want to loose that.

Hey, where's the cheesy pic adventure posted?

Too cheesy?

Wanting to look good for a majority of your waking hours doesn't mean you want to do your coworkers.

Some people care about their appearance and different aspects of it while others don't, neither scores morality points.

Ask someone who you trust and will tell you the truth before trying to look hot in scrubs. Same thing going to the beach- there's alot I just cant unsee, no matter how hard I try. Plus, leaving something to the imagination can add to the fantasy.

I want OP to check back in and tell us his ex is seething with jealousy.

I highly recommend finding a scrub that fits CLOSE to what you're looking for with good material, this portion is completely preferential and will likely force you to take a trip down to the scrub store to try on multiple sets. The key to look "stylish" in any context is FIT, FIT, FIT, which means you should take the scrubs to a tailor to do work.

I'm a skinny little Asian dude, and I'll be damned if I look like a little boy in my father's scrubs. I get my stuff tailored. I get tons of compliments mainly because, well, it just fits, I don't have an awesome body or anything, but fit makes so much of a difference. Full disclosure: I have most of my clothing tailored or altered. It's budgeted. Find a good tailor and you won't regret it.

And to those bashing the OP, hey, lighten up. Well-fitting and flattering scrubs make a difference in one's self confidence and also gives a fantastic first impression. Unfortunately people are generally judgmental, so wearing scrubs that fit well isn't the worst idea. It's like a job where you would wear business casual and dressing in well-fitting clothes. Just because it's the bare minimum doesn't mean you have look sloppy in bags of clothes. Also, I've found that I am able to have better range of motion and not get snagged on various lines, beds, rails, people, cats, patients, physicians, wheelchairs, MRSA, and/or code carts. This is a huge plus.

Good luck!

I haven't read through all this, I will just to see if there are scrubs I am missing out on, haha. But My favorite pair that I have seen and own are my Carhartt ripstop scrubs. Extremely durable, well fitting, and have a great cut and a heavy, manly look to them. Check out the link (can I post this?) :

I am and RN and am married to an RN. I know many married or dating nurse couples. If you think people don't notice how you look or if you don't notice how others look, you might want to have your serum testosterone level checked. Just sayin'

DAmn! Carhartt sure has some nice ones! I need to find scrubs in "surgical green." Anybody got a source?

Honestly man the last thing on your mind should be 'looking sexy' for your nursing shift. Saying that find out if your hospital allows or doesn't reinforce rules about wearing T-shirts as tops. I wear these nice slim-fitting t shirts from Express and they make me look sexy as hell - Jus' sayin'.
