Sexy male scrubs

Nurses Men

Published

Pardon the attention grabbing headline, but I have a frivolous question about men's scrubs. I'm a guy (as is obvious from the title), a nursing student, and I work in a local hospital as a clinical tech/nursing assistant/patient care tech, what have you. I've always had the cheapest durable scrubs, but over the last 3 & 1/2 months, I've lost 25lbs, with 10 more to go for my fitness goal, and for the first time, in like forever, I'm looking kinda... well... hot.

I need to change out my entire wardrobe, but I'd also like to look attractive in scrubs. Not just for work, but I volunteer frequently too, and I'm trying to live it up (seriously, never had this going for me before...), and I'd like to be attractive in scrubs as well. What are good brands and styles that provide some added sex appeal while remaining professional?

*FULL DISCLOSURE*

I have an ex that works on a different floor, and she hasn't seen me since our break up, 25lbs heavier. I would like to look great if and when she does.

Lol is this a real question? Well if so, I would say most scrubs are not designed to be "sexy" just functional haha. However, I do believe that most scrubs are more flattering to the male form. High quality brands like Dickies, Grey's Anatomy, or Cherokee Luxe always look professional and attractive to me. Congrats on the weight loss! WootWoot!

Haha! Um.... I think if you're fit and wear scrubs that fit your new size you're going to automatically look better. You might not "see" it because you're used to the weight loss. If I were you I would order some online and try on in the privacy of your home. Grey's Anatomy Or Cherokee maybe?

Dickies and cherokee look pretty good on me. But personally whatever brand I buy I have them re-hemmed along the axillary so theyre more form fitting but still comfortably loose. I never did care much for the way scrubs felt as though I were dressed in a cafeteria milk carton

I had to check to make sure this was a real post. Scrubs are for function, if you want "sexy" scrubs you're in the wrong line of work. Maybe you should look into something like "Magic Mike"-esque.

I've found that men's Grey's Anatomy scrubs look and fit odd on dudes. I'm a fan of Carhartt scrubs for guys myself.

Also, wanting advice on how to look good in work uniforms is not a ridiculous request. Once you find the right pair of scrubs that fit you well and accentuate your features in a professional and complimentary way, you may find that you may experience an additional boost of self-confidence that I'm sure you already have gained from being an excellent nurse.

Thank you, SaintlyJ! I know this question isn't life or death, and as a healthcare worker I know that the scrubs you're wearing don't count for jack when working a code, but I was really curious, and I'm glad for the help!

Sorry if this question is in the wrong place. I didn't know how else to find this out. My passion is healthcare, and I'm fit now for the first time in my life. I was hoping there was a way to enjoy both.

Thanks everyone for the great responses!

There's no better revenge then looking hot in front of your ex. Get it doll!

Guys look great in Cherokee and dickies in my opinion.

What guy talks about looking hot and sexy in scrubs? Seriously? :banghead: anyways the most manly type scrubs i've seen are dickies and cherokee...i wear cherokee.

The only way to achieve that look is to take a set of scrubs to a tailor and have them fitted. Trust me 99% of female nurses under 30 years old and under 130 pounds do that very thing LOL :D you know you do ;)
