Hi everyone..
I just scheduled my exam awhile ago and finally taking it this September 15, 2008.
I was looking for the September 2008 Support Group and found their is none in existence so i figured to start one.
I am currently on Saunder's 4th Ed. and some other references like, Exam Cram, Illustrated Study Guide for the NCLEX-RN Exam, Prioritization, Delegation Assignment by Linda LaCharity and other Q and A books by Saunder's and Mosby.
But i am focusing more on Saunder's, i just like to have other references to understand topics which i am weak in.
I wasn't a very good student before or wasn't that much focus with my studies while in school. That's why i am very anxious now with my upcoming exam.
Now I am giving my best in my review and hoping and praying that i may pass it on the first try.
I really want and dreampt of becoming an RN and finally i am a test closer to becoming one.
Good Luck to us and God Bless.
Go Team :anpom:

Prayers to all
Taking the NCLEX tomorrow. I've studied as much as I could, did Kaplan + cd and Saunders + a little of the cd. I hope it's what I needed to study, i'm scared of the prioritization/delegation which seems to be most of the test from what everyone is saying. I don't know maybe i'll feel more comfortable tomorrow morning? Good luck to all of us tomorrow and in the future.

Good Luck Lauren! :redpinkhe
Good luck to all September test takers! I'm taking my exam in two days. I don't know why I don't feel a thing. I'm so numb right now. I just wanna get over this exam. If I pass...I pass. If I fail the I'll just get up...dust myself up and try again (with suzanne's plan of course). I've just finished 30 minutes ago my Kaplan question trainer number 7. I'm so glad I'm done self reviewing. Dunzo...no more! hahaha By the way, my scores in Kaplan QT are the ff: 60,63,64,65,63,65,63. are these decent enough? I know that its not a gauge in passing the actual exam. I just wanna know if someone here with the same scores managed to pass. no matter what happen I wanna thank each one of here for the support and inputs you gave me. This site is really a big help!!!! Thanks. Thanks.
Hi Guys,
I just took my 2nd exam yesterday, Sept 15th. I had 265 q on the first exam and got 105 questions this time. I had 6 SATA, 2 Med calculation. I went home to check the answers and found out that i missed so many questions. Knowing that I must answers the high level of difficulty questions but what is consider as high level difficulty? SATA? Med? Prioritize? Delegation? Also, for those who took it twice, do you feel that the latter exam is much harder. They don't state a specific disease or ask for any defination. I'm praying every day for me to passed. The first time I studied the ATI which i regret it completely. Second time, I study from Saunder's book n do Kaplan's questions. Any advice on what to do if i failed this one again?
Thanks,
b.

Just wanted to come by and say BEST of luck to all of you taking the test !,
you know your stuff. Just focus on the test itsef. having tested 3 times myself (finally passing on the third time), i can give you what helped me.
Take your breaks when you need them, you are going to be anxious, thats normal but when you begin to lose 'focus', you know what i mean--take a break, go for a short walk outside get some air , mabye a drink of water..a few minutes will help.
try to block out all dristractions around you while testing, dont be concerned with the people takinig test around you, if they get up before you, just realize that not all people there are taking the RN test,
use as much 'scratch' paper as you need to work out the problems..
..again, good luck to all you test takers.
you WILL pass this test
