I just scheduled my exam awhile ago and finally taking it this September 15, 2008.
I was looking for the September 2008 Support Group and found their is none in existence so i figured to start one.
I am currently on Saunder's 4th Ed. and some other references like, Exam Cram, Illustrated Study Guide for the NCLEX-RN Exam, Prioritization, Delegation Assignment by Linda LaCharity and other Q and A books by Saunder's and Mosby.
But i am focusing more on Saunder's, i just like to have other references to understand topics which i am weak in.
I wasn't a very good student before or wasn't that much focus with my studies while in school. That's why i am very anxious now with my upcoming exam.
Now I am giving my best in my review and hoping and praying that i may pass it on the first try.
I really want and dreampt of becoming an RN and finally i am a test closer to becoming one.
Hi I just had a question. i take my test the 19th on a Friday, will I find out my results on the board of nursing website on Monday or Saturday? I was thinking they may not have people working on the weekend to update it. yeah I have found it really hard to study this time around!! I feel like I can only sit down for 2 hours tops. this is my 3rd time taking the test and I really really want to pass but I get really nervous when i can't study that much. PLEASE PRAY FOR ME!! I really don't know if I can do this another time.
It's my third time too. If I'm not mistaken, you get results back
only on working days, Mon-Fri. I'm schedule for the 18th and I'm scared too. I still feel I haven't studied enough but better than the last 2 times. I can't change my schedule because my flight to Honolulu have already been made and prices have gone up. I'm starting to feel very tense as the days near my test date. Just thinking about it gives me a headache and a stiff neck. My girl friend just fail in Aug. for the 3rd time. She was very depressed but she shook it off and started studying again. She plans to take it in Oct. We come too far to give it all up.
thanks for the inspiration zaylee, i'm sure you'll do fine. i saw alot of postings from you on the random thread sticky. be confident, and pray..ive been trying to pray everyday and my exam is on the 29th of this month. i know all of us will pass sooner or later..if it comes that we don't then we'll just have to keep trying. goodluck again.

you have to print the one they sent you via email and bring that with you to the test center. you'll know that it's the right form if it says in bold: please present this att. make sure to bring the right one and to make some extra copy's just incase god forbid something happened to the one you printed out!! goodluck :)
