I just scheduled my exam awhile ago and finally taking it this September 15, 2008.
I was looking for the September 2008 Support Group and found their is none in existence so i figured to start one.
I am currently on Saunder's 4th Ed. and some other references like, Exam Cram, Illustrated Study Guide for the NCLEX-RN Exam, Prioritization, Delegation Assignment by Linda LaCharity and other Q and A books by Saunder's and Mosby.
But i am focusing more on Saunder's, i just like to have other references to understand topics which i am weak in.
I wasn't a very good student before or wasn't that much focus with my studies while in school. That's why i am very anxious now with my upcoming exam.
Now I am giving my best in my review and hoping and praying that i may pass it on the first try.
I really want and dreampt of becoming an RN and finally i am a test closer to becoming one.
The first time the computer stopped at 265 and I was there for over 4 hrs. maybe more. I was exhausted.
This second time the computer stopped at 75 and I finished in one and a half hours. For this time around I studied for 4 weeks did all of the Q banks from Kaplan, all of the question trainers, so I really hope I passed, I know my last question was correct.
Do you think there is any correlation between the amount of questions given? 75 vs 265? Is 75 more promising than 265?

Im so sad i just found out i failed Nclex for the third time. Dont know what to do because i really studied. I spent hours reading Saunders 4th edition, doing questions from kaplan and online questions.........
Still in shock dont know where to turn. Thinking maybe this is not for me. Any advise please.

Sorry to hear this. Give yourself some time to get over the shock and then consider Suzanne's plan. What ever you do DO NOT GIVE UP

I'm logging off until I get back from slaying the NCLEX-RN dragon in Honolulu. Hopefully it will be victorious. My prayer goes out to all who will be facing the NCLEX dragon in their part of the country.

The test is coming closer (next Mon). I did well in school, scored 1001 on
my final cumulative HESI, have done Kaplan online and took the course, and completed the 3 week course by NCSBN.
ugh, I still feel sick. I just want the test to be OVERRRRRR!!! I just need to keep reminding myself that by next week I will be an RN.
(However, there is still that nagging feeling of, "what if...?" that I wish I could shake).
