  1. I'm having trouble writing my objective statement, you know the one that boils down what you want to do an population focus into one sentence. So far all I have is: To work as a Nurse Practitioner at ########## with a focus on patients with ACHD. Does it need to be more? I know that the 2-3 page goal statement takes the objective statement and allows you to flesh it out. Thanks in advance.

    Drexel University FNP Fall 2014

It was a fundamental biology course at the school I was accepted into. Maybe if I had had time to save up for it, the enrollment fee that is. But the way things are going for me right now, perhaps it was a blessing in disguise that I a) couldn't afford to go to that other program and b) Drexel denied me.

    Drexel University FNP Fall 2014

Student loans won't pay for the enrollment fee or the bridge course they wanted me to take

I did and was accepted, just can't afford to go

    Drexel University FNP Fall 2014

Well I got a letter in the mail today, I wasn't accepted.

I have to take the bridge biology course too, though have to figure out how to pay for it first.

Simmons College School of Nursing FNP online program

I'll be reapplying since I couldn't get the enrollment fee in by today. That fee is not easy to come up with. Nor will the cost of that bio bridge course

    Drexel FNP program

I haven't heard anything back yet.

Simmons College School of Nursing FNP online program

I can't get a private student loan. So it looks like if I want to go to Simmons I'll have to reapply at a later date when I have the fees saved up.

Between the enrollment fee and the cost of the bridge course. I don't have anyone to get the money from. The payment plan for the bridge course isn't feasible for me. I talked to financial aid, that's where I found out that the bio bridge course would be completely out of pocket for me. Ah well, that's what I get for applying knowing that federal aid was my only means of payment.

My admission rep is the one who told me that the enrollment fee for the September cohort is due June 2nd. I can defer to the Jan or March cohort, but he said the enrollment fee is still due June 2nd. So looks like I won't be attending anytime soon, especially since I will now have to reapply since I cannot pay that darn fee.

Simmons College School of Nursing FNP online program

Well, unfortunately it looks like I won't be attending after all. I can't pay the enrollment fee by June 2nd so I will have to reapply. Also, I can't afford the bridge course out of pocket even when I am able to save up the enrollment fee. I am so disappointed as I really was wanting to get started, even if I was starting to decide I wanted something more acute care oriented. I still love the format. I'm at a loss as to what to do. It really sucks as I was really excited.

    Simmons College FNP September 2014

I still have to come up with that too on top of this new revelation, which is why I have a decision to make

    Simmons College FNP September 2014

I can ask, but I doubt it since it's a conditional admission. I don't need an actual main biology class. I think this is a test class they want certain people to take

Don't choose a school until you ask these questions!

Word gets out fast, at least in my state when schools have a poor nclex pass rate especially when the board posts schools on probation in the magazine they send to every nurse and cna in the state. My alma mater does advertise quite a bit. And you get no argument from me about checking out the school your looking at on the BON website, do not rely on the schools website alone.
