Hey all, I was wondering if anyone else is on this website that is applying to the upcoming spring evening term for SSC and if so, what are your thoughts. Are you nervous? I am!
Clinicals are going to be scheduled for the weekends - is that right? Anyone know if that means Saturday AND Sunday? Any success in finding the Professional Socialization Seminar NUR 3806 schedule?
UCF immunizations - When I was accepted to UCF (prior to being accepted to nursing school) UCF emailed this link for immunizations to me http://hs.sdes.ucf.edu/forms/hc/immunization_form.pdf
Silly question and this may have been answered prior by one of you but what was your major showing when you applied to the Concurrent. The school wants me to change mine to a Gen AA Degree and I wanted to know if anyone else has that as their major. They say I can't get FA to pay for Chemistry without switching from RN-AS to a Gen AA.

I take back that last part. SSC must have taken down the Fundamentals course schedule to change it, because now it says
FT3634Combined Lecture and LabALTALTA0409Open01/0904/27Staff9:00 a.m.3:30 p.m.TH
FT3634Combined Lecture and LabALTALTA0348Open01/0904/27Staff9:00 a.m.3:00 p.m.TH.
I'm assuming the Thursdays where we get out at 3 are those couple of days that we have the UCF class.
I am little concerned about the class schedule for the Program. When you review the dates and times of classes under My Seminole State it lists the Fundamentals for Nursing class as a bundle class and these are all the times you are required to attend.

You are correct. My apologizes was looking at the wrong year on UCF's website. If this is the schedule then I will be unable to take my seat.
My uniforms came in today! They were a little big, but I think that a smaller size would have been too small.Hope everyone is excited, only one week til orientation!
Did you order from Meridy's or Uniformity? I'm waiting until orientation to order from Meridy's in the hopes that they'll have a few tops there that we can try on for size, but I'm wondering when my order from Uniformity will be coming in.
And yay, a week! We need to all meet up somewhere before/after or something so we can put faces to the screennames we've been talking with. :)

I'm not sure Spanky, I have not received any info from UCF concerning immunization yet. I just know that for SSC you need to have the required forms filled in and signed by your doc or health dept. The facilities that we will be doing clinicals with will be checking the immunization website to make sure we are all up to date.
