Seminole State Spring 2012 Generic/Concurrent Applicant

Hey all, I was wondering if anyone else is on this website that is applying to the upcoming spring evening term for SSC and if so, what are your thoughts. Are you nervous? I am!

You are correct. My apologizes was looking at the wrong year on UCF's website. If this is the schedule then I will be unable to take my seat. :(

Booboobear surely you can work something out. I will have issues with this schedule as well and I am kicking myself for not applying last semester if this is what the schedule looks like, but I am not about to give up my seat because it is just too hard to get into. I am sure you can work something out. Don't give up so easily.

My top arrived today from Meridy's and it does seem a bit boxy, but i'm sure the size down would have been too small in the chest area. Seems like they really don't want us looking too good LOL. :lol2:

Does anyone know if the clinical day is included in the Nursing Fundamentals class. The class is Mon, Wed and Thurs for a total of 16 hours! If its a 7 hour credit class, doesn't that usually mean we have class about 7 hours per week? That would leave time for a 9 hour clinical. Also, I'm trying to figure out if I should do concurrent program or just ASN.... Haven't decided yet.... Need to by tomorrow!!

Hey everyone! I found this site a while back ago when I was considering applying to a nursing program. I'm a junior at UCF and got accepted in the SSC Concurrent program... yay! :) I'm super excited just like everyone else, so congrats to everyone! :D Just doing all this paper work is driving me crazy between work and school.... I see all of you guys listed what you have done, so far..

1) I got my BLS certification... taking the last portion of it on Monday to get my card! :)

2) I have all my immunizations just need to get a physical done and I've already scheduled an appointment...

3) Have my paperwork for the drug screening... already made the appointment

4) Did the background check... scheduled finger printing, etc.

Pretty much the only thing I haven't done was ordered my uniforms... I really like to try stuff on before I order so I'll probably just end up making the long drive to Longwood to the actual store...

Also, I'm not sure if any of you guys know this but I called the school about the FIT testing and that will actually be done when classes start because the lady over the phone told me there were no more slots available but not to worry that they will set up appointments for just the spring semester students....

I don't know CarolDR. I am hoping they answer this question on Wednesday because it seems like a lot of hours for only 7 credit hours.

Denied...3.85 recalculated GPA, 96.5 TEAS, finished my prereqs in Summer 2009. Did any AS-only applicants get in?!

You only applied to the ASN program? Did you get on the alternate list?
