Always good to see accolades of school nurses in the media.

"Fixin' to die"... I love the south!!
We just don't say stuff like that up here in New England.
Always nice to read about school nurses doing their job well. :)

I grew up in Texas and my sister, who lives there now, says fixin' all the time!

i am not from that area by a wide margin but feel like i want to try and add that to my lexicon.
You can also say "waiting on" as well . "I was fixing to eat dinner but I am waiting in everyone to get home!" And I totally hijacked the thread now!

No desire to say fixin' here! Just wanted to say that I love how every school ever interviewed says "and this why every school should have a full-time RN in the building!"

Excellent work by this school nurse! Although, I'm sure a secretary, AP or "delegated personnel" could have handled it -___-
