Scheduled my exam! Any one else testing next week? (July 7th)

Published

I graduated on May 12th and it's been a LONG wait for the state to finally issue authorization to test with Pearson. July 7th at 8 AM is the big day.

Our nursing program gave each graduating nurse a scholarship "gift" of the Kaplan 4-day NCLEX prep. I've been doing practice Q-Bank questions nearly every day. So far, I'm doing pretty well on the trainers & Q-Banks. I simply cannot wait to get this over & done with. I have a job lined up and I cannot start until I pass the NCLEX, per their policy.

Anyone else taking their exam next week?

Just saw my license posted online! It is official now:)

Doesn't it feel great to have it be official? I keep looking on the BON website just to see "License - Active"

That's a great sign that you've passed, if it ended in 75 questions :D I just *know* you did!!! Can't wait to read your post on Friday when you get your Quick Results. In the mean time, you can vent to us any time you want. We understand how LONG that 48 hours really is!!!!

Lol yes hunnny!!!!!!! I prayed before my test and even gave pointers to another test taker who was testing for the 2nd time but I was confident and it I was not sweating it because I did my best... Now I am going to catch up and lost sleep and clean up my house until Friday which seems so far away and I go back to work on Friday. I've been out of work since last week Wednesday so I guess I'll make the best out of the next 2 dreadful days!

Yeah, my house was spic & span by the time those Quick Results came in...LOL :) That's so nice that you were able to help out a fellow test taker....good karma :D I tell you what, after my NCLEX was over, I picked up my phone to call my family and before I could dial, I just busted out crying. I'm not an overly emotional person, so I was really surprised that I cried. I think it's just the realization that all of that HARD work had finally come to a close. Sounds like you had your moment the night before. It's a good emotional release

Oh yes we do! I am not sure if you read the whole thread, but for me cleaning the house roof to the floor helped to stay sane!

I took the NCLEX RN yesterday. The computer shut off at 76 questions. I had over 20 sata, 3 exhibits, and some priority. To be honest, it's like a blur to me. It really was a mixture of anything. What I noticed is that hurst review helped me a lot with the NCLEX. The overall experience was like answering at home on my computer lol.

After the exam, I was just numb and I even asked the proctor lady what time is it like am I really finished. Hmmmm... crossing fingers!!! Can't wait to tell everyone I passed. And the exam was really similar to Kaplan and UWorld layout and all. And I feel as if both sites were a huge help calming my nervous.

I agree!! When I saw the layout I felt more at ease. I used Kaplan and used UWorld last week to look over a few things. Thank you Jesus, on Monday I reviewed OB. I had a few OB. After the test, I had to take a nap because it is still surreal to me.

I thought Kaplan was a miracle. I actually used it at the exam :)

Me too especially for the SATA! I took the live online class and our teacher told us whenever you get a SATA number 1 thru 5 or 6 and check off all the ones that applies to the answer and eliminate all the ones that do not apply and that helped me a lot. Thank you Kaplan!

I just checked the Board of Nursing website and my status has changed from Pending to Active. Please tell me this is a good sign! My quick results are not available yet until tomorrow morning!
