Published

Hello to everyone..Can I ask anyone who is working with MOH saudi Arabia? Can I ask if they are offering a 1 year contract? Can you give me also an idea regarding their exam? Thank you in advance. Godbless!

one of the people from window m told me that you have to be 22 yrs old in order to be qualify in saudi-moh? is this true? because i knew that the minimum age must be 21 and not 22. please shed us some light...

hello im a newbie hir. could u plz guide me.. i was texted by the sro yesterday to report on dec 21 in their office for exam/interview.. do i need to bring again all of my documents? do i need to contact them to confirm? or just walk their and take the exam? thanks a bunch..mwuah

To Ayeth05, do you have a hospital experience?

hi everyone, this is my very first post here, I'm sorry if some questions that I'll be asking were already asked, the pages are just too many to back-read all.

it seems female nurses are favored in KSA. how about if you're a male with 2 years experience? would the MOH accept that? and if they do, would you be getting the same salary as those nurses without experience or much higher? what specialty areas are they usually giving better compensation?

another thing, is the processing time really that indefinite if you applied there at POEA? cause i've read some posts and it seems some (or many..) are still waiting for their interviews and flights which they've filed months ago.

I myself is an inexperienced nurse trying to gain some so as to meet those requirements, it seems easier (though not really) to go and find a job at KSA than in NZ, AU, US and UK in my opinion so I'm really eyeing this one then use it as a stepping stone..(sighs) We'll soon be blessed noble fellows. Keep hoping and praying. :p

lastly, i just want to share this verse to all those hopefuls like me

Jeremiah 29:11

"For I know the plans that I have for you", declares the Lord, "plans for welfare and not for calamity, to give you a future and a hope".

replies are highly appreciated fellows. thank you :p

@ Dodoy,

Once again, the MOH or the HOP does not accept male applicants because of "saudization" but you may apply in private agencies because I think MODA which usually goes through private agencies s male nurses. To be qualified, you should have at least 2 years hospital experience. also, those who are in the special area like ER,OR, ICU,CCU usually get a bigger offer compared to those in the ward.

Hope this will help you..

hi! does Saudi consider volunteer training as an experience?

Yeah it's been 2 mos already but let's not worry that much coz until now they're still accepting applicants. As a matter of fact, I saw one private agency posted an opening for 50 paramedics and 150 male nurses and was mentioned in the ad that the positions are for pre-hospital deployment. and Saudi gov't is the principal and they require applicants to have an ambulance/EMS or ER exp. it's obvious that it's the same job opening for SRCA at POEA ayt?

When I submitted my credentials, I asked the lady in window M when is the deadline for submission of application. She didn't mention any date or month, what she said was it will be until the employer arrive and assign a schedule for interview.

I think the need for the position is not urgent. BTW, what position did you apply for? They did not consider for the Nurse position because they said I don't have any hospital experience and I don't have a total work experience of 2yrs so I just applied as a Paramedic. I don't have any idea about how much the offer is but I believe there is a great difference between the 2 positions mentioned above.

here's the link I found from workabroad.ph

Good Luck to all of us!

Do you have friends or something that knows? I red from a forum they are doling out a starting at around 7000 riyals hovering around 80k pesos. I Dont know if this is true though.

Well, "maybe" it's true. I was once offered 3k riyals ny a private company for a nurse-EMT position. What more if it is the government we're talking? If we also compare the workload, the one w/c I was offered 3k was quite laidback. Accidents rarely happen and the population (company employees) is not that big. On the other hand, working as a EMT/paramedic or pre-hospital nurse for the gov't is busier. You cater to a bigger population and as what others have said, the prevalence of trauma cases form vehicuilar crash is high, and added to that are the house-calls w/c are mostly medical cases.

Anyway, I stillcan't answer the question. hehe!

This is teh website of SRCA. if I'm not mistaken, this is where sir King_James applied. http://www.emssaudiarabia.com/Home/
