Went to my EMT school this week, informed our training director about my application at SRCA. They did not encourage me to apply there coz they said the offer is not good. P38K? They said that we deserve more than that especially those who have dual qualifications. They did give inform me about another job opening to apply w/c has a better offer and not in KSA.

They're looking for EMT's with PSEMT license. Im not sure if AREMT also. EMT should have minimum of 1 yr exp after having their PSEMT license. Are you an EMT also? with PSEMT lic? they're also hiring nurses, mininum is 2yrs. exp. and required to pass the HAAD exam.

The offer for EMT is good but not as high likecompared to offers in Qatar and Dubai, starting salary for EMT with minimum exp. is 50+k. BTW, it's in Abu Dhabi. I just attended thier training this friday. They're planning to have another orientation on monday, I'm not sure though. Better contact them for confirmation. I'll pm you the details.

Does anybody know when will the Red Crescent conduct interviews? It's been two months now, Im really getting impatient.

Also, does anybody know the starting salary if chosen. TY

I just got a text form POEA, I am scheduled for an exam and interview next week for SRCA.

Who has any idea what type of exam will be given? I've read here before about exams for MOH, but not for SRCA. My idea is that it will be more about pre-hospital setting.

Had my interview this morning. I wasn't given a written exam. just a panel-like interview. I was given a scenario, EMS equipment and a dummy were provided. Just a tip, know your ABC's and know your equipment. Review your trauma and medical assessment step by step procedures. AVPU, DCAPBTLS etc. I didn't expect it to be like that, good thing I reviewed it also. Some were sent home because they don't have an ACLS training yet. It's not limited to the basics, they could even ask you to intubate using the dummy.

Question about high school diploma:

Do they accept certificate issued by the school stating that I graduated from that school? I wasn't able to claim my diploma when I graduated high school. That was years back. And lately I tried claiming it but the school couldn't find it anymore, they even said that it must have been claimed already but i said I didn't even saw grab a hold of it and don't even know how it looks like. I ask them if I could request for another copy but they told me that it is not possible. They issued me a certificate instead, stating that based from their records, I graduated from that school and stating the school year I graduated.

Is there anyone here who experienced the same problem before? Did they consider the certificate as a replacement for the diploma?
