Hello to everyone..Can I ask anyone who is working with MOH saudi Arabia? Can I ask if they are offering a 1 year contract? Can you give me also an idea regarding their exam? Thank you in advance. Godbless!

Maybe I'm not that updated cause when I went at the POEA office last October, they were not accepting nurses with no experience specially for their MOH. Try your luck piquant and pls. tell me if they are indeed accepting applicants with no experience or if they are now accepting clinical experience as in my case. Althogh I already have a file there, I plan to refile..

Is the Prometric Exam a requirement for all Saudi-bound nurses? Or does it depend on the employer?

i went to poea last week and passed my requirements for saudi red cross.. hopefully i can be accepted as when i apply online in srca website, they asked if i had military experience which i did..but not as a nurse.. i had worked there for more than 4 years.. i don't know a reason why such is being asked but hopefully that would be for an advantage.. i also stated that i am an nclex passer and my license registration in prc is more than 2 years so i hope i'll be ok... had more than a year experience in hospital..

:smokin:

it sure is an advantage sir! as always.. i think

i hope so.. i have also a pending final interview in the Philippine Air Force...I'm just waiting for it and it will happen very soon. but if the saudi red crescent pushes through, for sure, I'll be accepting saudi.. for my family.

I submitted my application to POEA cebu and bacolod early this year, i just received a text from SRO manila yesterday informing me that im scheduled for an interview this Dec22. DOes anyone here know the latest salary offering for MOH?

I have yet to decide whether to pursue my application though, since i am getting married on january and I fear that my marriage might fail because of this, i have ambivalent feelings about this but if the salary is big enough, i might recconsider

to elajsh, I think the salary offer for MOH differs depending upon your area of specialization and experience. Those in the special area like ICU, NICU, OR, dialysis and the like have 20% higher salary than those assigned in the wards. I have a friend working for MOH in a special area and she's earning around SR4100 which is around 54000Php, tax free of course.

Hope this has helped you and best wishes on your wedding!!!

hello im a newbie hir. could u plz guide me.. i was texted by the sro yesterday to report on dec 21 in their office for exam/interview.. do i need to bring again all of my documents? do i need to contact them to confirm? or just walk their and take the exam? thanks a bunch..mwuah

thank you rhythm4jane, your response has helped a lot. God bless!

do you think it will be advisable to apply even though you do not have formal experience (e.g. work experience in the specified field of nursing) in emergency nursing/paramedics?

i just withdraw my apllication at SRO, and now, please, has anyone here knows about Al-Shiha clinic in riyadh? because i have such application and im still waiting for the said processing to be done by the poea as what said by my agency sumwhere in malate.. Anyone would help tell me about Al-Shiha clinic in riyadh

P14,000 is very low compared to the offered contract from MOH- ranging from P20,000 - P35,000. I am planning to wait until next year for MOH-SRO to hire inexperienced nurses again. But it is actually up to you... There are times that I feel I can't wait anymore. I'd like to work as a nurse ASAP. Try to backtrack the advised given to me by Miztahcool on this forum. Cost of living there, accdg to him, is quite high, usually employers offer subsidy for lodgings but how about the food. Its actually up to you, if money is not a problem.. Then why not.. Instead of wasting time here waiting.. why not spend it productively by working as a nurse abroad. But there are agencies offering a nurse position w/ 1,400 - 1,600 SR salary for inexperienced nurses. However, you have to be careful because i have to make alibis to withdraw my passport from them since I learned from POEA website that these agencies don't have job offers for nurses. So i'm not sure if the job I am landing is legal. Good luck to us all!

hi ciara, we share the same sentiments, i went to poea last month but unfortunately they are not accepting nurse applicant with zero experience. it is only this year that they implemented that thing. i just hope that MOH-SRO will hire nurses with no experience next year.. im crossing my fingers.. according to my friend, the delegates are used to conduct interviews during march to may. kindly inform me if the poea will be accepting unexperienced nurses next year.. thank you so much!
