Love the fact, when I find a moment and I'm curious what other RN's are doing/thinking about certain issues, that I can log on and peruse.

Add "I don't know" or N/A to the survey question options.

Using the keyboard versus just typing is awkward.

I cannot tell you how much I enjoy this site.

It provided me with a way to relate to colleagues as I was searching for a job after being out of the field for 12 yrs.

I am back at work, and AN helped me tremendously as far as the current state of nursing, the interview process, etc.

I have laughed and cried while reading posts.

And I love the fact that I can post a question, and have expert responses within a few hrs. Thanks to all the nurses who post here!

I have been able to find the answer or if not a discussion about any nursing related question I have had so far as a member! I think that this site is fantastic and would not be what it is without all of the wonderful members who share their stories, experiences, and opinions!

Besides all of the good adjectives mentioned previously... I must say if the site wasn't all ready created it, it would be on the top of my list to do. Needless to say, I have met several incredible nursing colleagues in this site, which in turn have become dear friends of mine...and for that alone the site to me is priceless!!!...desismileys_4508.gifAloha~

This is a really great site. No only because of the educational aspect, or the opportunity to network technical issues. But above all it gives us a chance to vent and know our peers are listening and giving support. This is not an easy profession to succeed in, and so many it seems we give a lot more than we take. You can only talk about nursing concerns to another nurse, and sometimes it's just not a good policy to talk about certain issues with your co-workers. So this site gives us a safe outlet to voice our concerns without fear of repercussions.
