Wanted to create this board to share questions, points & help each other for the Fall 2021 application cycle to San Joaquin Delta College ADN program in Stockton, California.

Just write it like it is on your Official Transcript- its to the best of your ability to figure out if it’s equivalent. I took a Developmental Psychology out of state and Delta evaluators said it was the same as HS19 (this evaluation was a long time ago since I’m already a student), but your psych should be fine!

thank you!!  I reached out to evaluations many times and they never respond to my emails.

yes please.  I have tried to email but they don’t respond.  I am wondering if I should make an appointment.  If they accept this class I have 84 points and I feel good about my application so it would suck to not get in due to this course!

Hi esimpson99, did you happen to get a reply about whether we should add non science repeats to the app?  I haven’t, but when I called the HS dept yesterday they just told me to call back Monday...

 

Also, just looking ahead here, but one of the colleges I went to isn’t able to mail official transcripts because campus has been closed for a while now due to COVID-19.  Anyone know if Delta will accept the electronic transcript due to these circumstances?

it’s my understanding that they do accept electronic transcripts

I did not get a response but I did call the HS dept. and they re-forwarded my email and said --------------------- would respond on Monday as she's been out this week. Either way I need to submit application so I will need to figure something out Monday. They also would not answer my question on the phone and I explained I had emailed a few times. As far as transcripts, it is my understanding with DELTA that they do not require official transcripts until after you have been asked to send in supporting docs. so as far getting it done before application deadline, you should be OK.

I would try your best to contact your school and have them send you a physical transcript. Just because they say electronic only they might be able to do a physical one, just call and try to explain the situation. Delta definitely is going to prefer a physical paper official transcript because they have you mail all your supporting documents in at a later date in a physical Manila envelope.

I just received confirmation from the HS dept. that you only list science repeats on your application.  Do not list non-science repeats!

Thank you! I just received a response about an hour or so ago and it said the same thing. Only science repeats! You can use highest grade on all non-science courses. ?

I'm invited too!! I've had this experience before. You can ask me. I got in before but because of some circumstances I couldn't attend the program.

awesome, thank you so much! So, is everyone who meets minimum requirements invited? I guess I'm wondering that, and did you just compile the docs and transcripts, etc. into a pile then neatly insert it into a large envelope? I feel like I've been waiting my whole life for this, so I don't want to mess it up LOL

Also, I'm not sure if this has been asked, but I just went online to order my MJC transcript, and because of covid they're only doing it electronic. Does anyone know if SJDC is accepting this as it's the only option?
