Wanted to create this board to share questions, points & help each other for the Fall 2021 application cycle to San Joaquin Delta College ADN program in Stockton, California.

Absolutely!! You might have gotten a weird person in the evaluations department. You should ask for it to be re-evaluated by --------------------------, the head of the department. You can work that out with them later- for now definitely submit. Because I am a current delta student and I transferred in a class called Developmental Psychology from an out of state community college and they classified it as Human Development. I bet you just got an incompetent person in evaluations.

Hi!  Applied to Delta with 84 points and MJC with 85 points!

Yes, just go through email. You can call and ask for the head of the department and then send him an email. I had to email course descriptions, etc. but at the end of the day the nursing program is the one who evaluates the nursing classes for you, they might double check files with evaluations but they make the call from what I understand

Hi for anyone who completed courses at Mjc you have to send both the transcript and course descriptions ? I’m looking at the 3rd page on the checklist packet

Hello! Anyone else completing the packet? I'm confused on the 'Advanced Placement Option Only' section. Is everybody supposed to fill that out?

I believe that is only for the LVN pathway

Hello, 

I just turned in my packet this morning to Delta. But I can share with you how I did my course description. I took physio at Cabrillo College in Aptos. I went onto the college website and looked for the 2020 course catalog. I typed in ‘course catalog’ on the search bar. All course catalogs from current to previous years should be archived and available to view. Then, find the course catalog from the year you took the courses. For mines, I printed the cover page, and the page that included course description for physio. Then I highlighted the course title. That’s how I did the course description for mines. Before I turned my packet it, I had my friend, who is a current Delta ADN student, review it. And he said he did the same thing. See photos below. I hope this helps. Have a great day!!
