I applied with 87.5 to Delta and got in. I also got in to MJC & Sac State. 85 points is VERY competitive, you shouldn’t have an issue getting in. remember to apply to other schools like MJC. There are pros and cons to every school.

I also denied Delta to attend MJC Spring 2022!

I can’t get in to my application. When I click on the link, it says “the page cannot be displayed because an internal server error has occurred.” I've now tried on 3 different browsers on 2 computers and on my phone. Happening to anyone else?

I know someone who was accepted declined their spots and I also know those accepted got their packet Thursday. Be checking your emails and also your application to see if you are accepted! Hoping the best for you all!

But from what I heard the 20 Hope spots are actually part of the 60, so they actually take 60 total and everyone else competes for just the “remaining” 40 spots in Spring, since the rest are basically given away already

It’s much more competitive in Fall than in Spring, which is another factor- I’ve heard this from others who know the nursing stats year after year and they tell me Fall is always much more competitive! Yes the Hope program is through local hospitals and guarantees workers a spot in the program.

Yes, just go through email. You can call and ask for the head of the department and then send him an email. I had to email course descriptions, etc. but at the end of the day the nursing program is the one who evaluates the nursing classes for you, they might double check files with evaluations but they make the call from what I understand 87.5

Absolutely!! You might have gotten a weird person in the evaluations department. You should ask for it to be re-evaluated by --------------------------, the head of the department. You can work that out with them later- for now definitely submit. Because I am a current delta student and I transferred in a class called Developmental Psychology from an out of state community college and they classified it as Human Development. I bet you just got an incompetent person in evaluations.

Delta prefers physical, try contacting MJC and see if they can send you one special request. If not, you’ll have to call delta health science/email and confirm they’ll accept it. You might need to order an official pdf to yourself and print it out, as well as order another one and send it to the nursing department if the pdf is your only option. Delta wants all the documents that support your application to be physically placed into a Manila envelope and mailed in to them.
