Wanted to create this board to share questions, points & help each other for the Fall 2021 application cycle to San Joaquin Delta College ADN program in Stockton, California.

Delta prefers physical, try contacting MJC and see if they can send you one special request. If not, you’ll have to call delta health science/email and confirm they’ll accept it. You might need to order an official pdf to yourself and print it out, as well as order another one and send it to the nursing department if the pdf is your only option. Delta wants all the documents that support your application to be physically placed into a Manila envelope and mailed in to them.

Hi everyone.  I was invited too!! However, I also got an email from evaluations office saying my developmental psych class wouldn’t be equivalent to the human development class.  Do you think I should still submit documents? ?

Absolutely!! You might have gotten a weird person in the evaluations department. You should ask for it to be re-evaluated by --------------------------, the head of the department. You can work that out with them later- for now definitely submit. Because I am a current delta student and I transferred in a class called Developmental Psychology from an out of state community college and they classified it as Human Development. I bet you just got an incompetent person in evaluations.

Congrats! I also received an "invite" to send my backup docs. Good luck to all of us! To answer your question, yes I believe SJDC accepts e-transcript. I sent SJDC an e-transcript of my college courses from Cabrillo College prior to applying for the Fall 2021 ADN cycle. But I was told by friends who are currently in SJDC's RN program, that a hard copy is required as part of the backup documents. They suggested that I order hard copies mailed to myself, so that I can include them with the packet if I was to be invited. So, that is what I did.

Hello everyone,

I was also invited and I wanted to know what it means under "prerequisite criteria" and asking for course descriptions that aren't at Delta. Does this mean we have to submit something from the school at which we attended other than our official transcript?

So does anyone know when the documentation is due? The link to the documentation checklist says October 2020 LOL

Your college should have like a course catalog that will have course descriptions for every class. They need those to compare and see if the courses are actually equivalent.

Documentation is due 4/29 by 4pm. It shows online under application

I still have this on my application page. "The application has been submitted but has not been denied or invited to submit further documentation.

Check back around the notification date for further details" 

Does that mean that I wasn't selected to submit supporting documents or I can still receive some updates today ?

Mine still says the same as well. I am hoping they will give an update today, as it says on the dates they listed. Good luck!!

Hey! According to the Fall 2021 Documentation Checklist, there's an option to electronically submit your transcript! It just has to be official, so directly sent from the school.
