That’s interesting, Do they wait until after you apply before they put you in that course or just hope you have enough points to still get in? It used to be similar to MJC in that it was a course so you could start the program later, but oh well. I had no idea though, so thank you! Also, yes absolutely send me a message!

My understanding is that you must apply to the program first and foremost - and if you are accepted, and space is available for advance placement, they will offer the HS 43 course.  I was told that you cannot apply in both "pools" of applicants (must be in either advance placement or no advance placement).  I have yet to complete my application but am leaning towards the advance placement pool even if there is a possibility of no space.  I will just keep applying every application period and hope that a space becomes available eventually!  Who knows, maybe we will get lucky this go around! :)

Did anybody get the zoom link emailed to them for the ADN/PSYCH TECH Virtual Information Session?

Guys who have attended info session, can anyone please tell me if they are having fast track program this application period?

I believe Fasttrack is only offered for Spring Applicants. They didn’t address your specific question in the session.

Hey everyone! :)  I am finally going to finish my application this week, and I have a couple of basic questions - can anyone help me out pleeeease? :)

1.  Under Criteria 2: Prerequisite Coursework Do we need to include the title of the course or will just the course name suffice? example: BIO 430 or BIO 430 Anatomy & Physiology I?

2.  We only list repeats for science prerequisites correct?  Because if I list a repeat for a non-science course, I'm not able to mark it as a repeat and my GPA goes down.

3.  I'm still unclear on how to opt for the Advanced Placement pool (I have emailed HS division about this) and awaiting their reply... there was a disclaimer at the top of one of the sections instructing Advanced Placement applicants to see Criterion B but that section only asks for my LVN license #.  I guess this is how we opt for Advanced Placement?

1. They told me match your Official Transcript. It the Official Transcript has both course code “BIOL 31” and name “Human Anatomy”, then list both.

2. yes, from what I’ve heard repeats only listed for the sciences. Should be in the instructions too.

3. I don’t know the answer to LVN

I have the same question regarding "repeats". On the application it clearly states below, which tells me for Science and Non-Science, you list all attempts so they can include it in GPA. But when you get to the final page there is no option to click any of the English courses as a repeat. I've emailed HS dept. but no luck yet. will let you know if I hear anything back but I don't want to be disqualified for entering it incorrectly.

Does anyone know how strict the college is about tranfer course work?  I took a course titled "Developmental Psychology" which to my understanding is a very similar course and course descripiton to Human Development at Delta.  I am wondering what my chances are that they will accept this course!

I am not sure about that class but I had an appt with a counselor so he could evaluate my math course and he said he “wasn’t sure” and I emailed the evaluations office and they said they “think so.” So I just submitted it anyway. If you’d like I can give you the email
