San Joaquin Delta College ADN Fall 2021 Applicants

Published

Wanted to create this board to share questions, points & help each other for the Fall 2021 application cycle to San Joaquin Delta College ADN program in Stockton, California.

Specializes in Nursing Student.

Hi, thanks for answering my previous question. I just had some more questions. Since some of you are already in the program, can you please let me know how is it like? Is it difficult and how many hours do you need to dedicate daily? Also, what are the cons of nursing?

Is it true that the grading criteria for nursing is different than any other major? I´ve heard that getting  B is considered failing.

Thanks again ?

I’m so sad... I stumbled upon this site trying to find contact information for anyone in the nursing program faculty because the schools phones are not even ringing, they just hang up immediately after calling. Our final ranking date for this application was today and I’ve been checking every day since I put in my app over a month ago, and this morning (on the same day we are supposed to find out) they change it to November 8th. Is their program not reliable? I saw someone else say they’ve heard mixed messages.

Does anyone know a student who is already in this program? I am interested in reviews about it

For those who were accepted, how many points did you have?

Hello, I will be starting Fall 2022 and was wondering if anyone from first semester can tell me how the scheduled looked.  I registered for my classes already but reading the scheduled times is really confusing to me.  Im and trying to prepare the best I can with 3 kids.  If someone could please give me some insight on what the first semester schedule looked I would really appreciate it.  I want to get an idea of what it will be like.

Thanks ?

Depending on what day and time your skills and clinicals are set for it’s either M-Th or T-F. For us, we all had clinicals T&W

I'm pretty sure I have clinicals tues and wed and from what I'm reading here it's from 6:30-2pm , I think

so if tues and wed are 6:30-2pm, what would the other days and times look like?

It looks like Monday 8-11 on campus to practice skills, TW at the hospital 6-2 and Th we had lecture 9am-1pm

OK, thanks, this helps.  Where there any lectures that were available remotely?  or did students have to attend everything on campus?

thanks again for taking the time to answer my questions.

I will be posting a FB link to a group for SJDC fall 2022

anyone that started fall 2021 and had the Lodi as a clinical site?  I have a couple questions I was hoping to get some help with.
