  1. It doesnt overlap with HS 95, that was something I was confused about but HS 95 in-person classes start 1 week before ADN1. Im not sure about the difficulty but I know its just an additional stress to add on yourself. I think they do weekly discussions and its not really worth it bc during adn1 and adn2, you're taught everything you need to know.
  2. No you take one class at a time. NURSADN1 is the first half of the semester and then NURSADN2 is the second half. The schedules for NUSADN1 and NURSADN2 are the same. The only difference is that NURSADN2 doesnt have any on-campus clinicals.
  3. No studying isn't really necessary bc they teach everything.
  4. The schedule for ADN1 looked like Tuesday/Wednesday clinicals (6:30-2:30), Thursday lecture (8:00-12:00) Monday skills (8:00 - 11:00). But this all depends.
  5. For NURSADN1 we went 4x a week. The first 5 weeks are on-campus clinicals which is why the hospital days are overlapping but after the 5 weeks you go to the hospital you chose. That schedule does look messed up bc you go to 1x lecture, 1x skills, 2x clinicals in a week.
  6. So you take nursing classes at Delta and during the Summer you can take BSN courses with GCU or CSUDH (California State University, Dominguez Hills). CSU Stanislaus also offers BSN courses to ADN students as well but they are a lot more pricier. In order to apply to GCU (Grand Canyon University) there will be university representatives coming in and giving their information to apply so you don't need to worry about that right now. To apply to CSUDH, you just fill out the application online once the application period opens for you guys. These programs are not eligible for financial aid. GCU is $250 per credit and CSUDH is $270 per unit. So yes its a concurrent enrollment so while you take your ADN courses, you also take BSN courses during the Summer to get some classes done. You won't be able to complete all of the BSN courses while getting your ADN though. https://www.csudh.edu/son/programs/BSN-Summer-fast-track/
  7. They still do. GCU comes in often and speaks about their concurrent program. They offer 2 classes during the Summer and 1 class during the Winter break. CSUDH also offers fast track Summer BSN courses. This is how GCU looks.
  8. Im currently in the 2nd semester of the nursing program. We received our packets exactly 2 weeks after the final notification date. Also, the fast track is only for the Spring applicants and we were invited by email. Let me know if you guys have any questions! I'll be happy to help out!! Congrats to those who got accepted!!
  9. Yea that makes sense bc the TB test takes a long time since you need to wait for 1 week after reading the first test.
  10. Congratulations! You got this!! What's your deadline to complete everything? Ours is Dec 19.
  11. Nope. Did you call them? I called yesterday and she said tomorrow.
  12. Did anyone ask if we are getting the packet today? Tomorrow is a holiday and if we don't get it by today we are probably going to get it on Monday :(
  13. 75 students this semester. 40 regular, 15 fast track, and 20 hope students. Usually its 20 students fast track. I don't know why they did it 15 this time. You guys still have a chance because some students probably won't do fast track.
