I believe the answer is yes. I remember seeing this question appear on the Frequently asked questions page on the Delta website. It says on there on the last page that if it’s a prerequisite and you took it twice, you put the first passing grade. I am meeting with a nursing counselor tomorrow and I will ask this question because I need to know too- if we’ve taken Multiple English classes, do we list all of them?

Oh I see! However, I’ve never repeated a class these are different courses ? but I just called my sister, her roommate got in at delta even though she went with another school and she said to just upload the courses I’m claiming points for so hopefully that’s correct I already submitted it ?

Oh okay! Hopefully it’s correct!

if anyone else is reading this, I’ll be meeting with the nursing counselor tomorrow. Let me know if you have any questions you want me to ask her!

Hello everyone! Can anyone help me with an issue I have! I'm trying to apply my Eng 1A grade to the english section of the application, but I looked at my unofficial transcript and oddly it says I haven't earned the units for that class.

So my grade is an A and attempted units are 3.0, but earned units are 0.0. Does anyone else have this issue?

If I use my Eng 1D score, my points go from an 85.5 to an 83.5. I think it might have to do with my AP class. It's so confusing.

Hi Abigail! You definitely are going to want to log on to the Live Chat to talk to Admissions and Records because if your transcript doesn’t show you took the class the nursing program will disqualify you. Get it sorted out through the records department

I second this. Although, I was able to claim points at MJC for a class with 0.00 units because I had taken it right out of high school, forgotten about it, didn’t have it transferred to MJC when I went back to college, so retook it and later had old transcripts sent and it says “illegal repeat” on my MJC transcripts, but MJC nursing took the higher grade with 0.00 units. It’s a weird situation but it does happen. However, I have no idea what delta will say.

I also need to reach out to delta, again, for something that came up. I’ve take a “TEAS” exam a total of three times. Once was back in 2014 for my LVN program, which did not include sciences. Then again in 2016 for University of Phoenix which was the older version, the TEAS V, and so it did not count towards this latest version, titled “The TEAS test”, which is a newer version than the TEAS V, and so technically I only took the latest version once. However, upon looking at my report of my score it says attempt 3 out of 3. I only took that version once and there’s no way the first time with zero sciences would count as an attempt at Delta or MJC. It just shows that because it was through ATI and technically a version of the TEAS. So I added on the delta application that it was my 1st attempt and I’m worried if they request docs from me they’ll say, you took it 3 times? I need to follow up on that because without context it looks like a discrepancy ?

Great point about the TEAS! The awesome news is we have until March 30 to submit. We can save and come back to the application. It’s super important to input everything perfectly so that when we finally submit it’s all correct and we don’t get disqualified. Thinking about your TEAS, I would be inclined to put that it’s the 3rd attempt since 3 attempts are allowed and they will be looking at your official TEAS score that will say 3 attempts. But definitely ask them and get a response on that! Hopefully they respond to our emails!

Hi everyone! So I took physio last Summer 2020 but ended up dropping it and got an EW. I took it again in fall 2020 and got an A. Do I need to put the first one in my app? Thank you.

Hi everyone! I had a quick question about the TEAS section of the application. Do we need to put somewhere that we took it remotely? On my score report from ATI, it says the Institution is: U of PHX Livermore BSN so I'm assuming I would put University of Phoenix Livermore/Livermore, CA for Place/Location TEAS was Taken. Thank you for your help!

Great question! I’m waiting to hear back on exactly the same thing. I will post on here as soon as I find out. I wrote the health science email about it yesterday at noon and hoping to hear back before the weekend.

Hey! I actually had this same exact question about whether to abbreviate or write it out, I wrote the question to the health science email already. I’m Waiting to hear back, hopefully by Friday. I’ll post here as soon as I hear back and tell you what they said!

Does anyone know if we’re supposed to type in our course names as they show for other schools or do we change them to fit deltas course names  ??

Exactly as it appears on your Official Transcript. Do not type deltas course name unless you took it at Delta, or you’ll be disqualified.

Thank you!! I ended up with less points than I thought I was going to have ?? still worth the shot to apply.
