San Francisco State University (SFSU) BSN Program

Has anyone gotten a response from the SFSU BSN Program? I emailed someone a while ago and they said it would be rolling around sometime between April and May (how vague :zzzzz). I am just a nervous wreck as everyone else waiting for their ACCEPTANCES (positive thinking!). I think I'm going insane checking the website once or twice a day :banghead:. I've read somewhere around this forum that people have already been admitted or denied into the MSN program and the Accelerated BSN @ the Canada branch, but I applied at the main campus.

Okay, so your online status has not changed from your app being under review. Ro'smom, does the first letter of your last name begin with A-C?? There may be hope yet guys!!

East bay doesn't require you to complete all your subjects by february. You could have still applied. Check their website for details about "in progress" classes. I think they even allow 2 in progress science classes during the spring before fall admission. But then again, having all prereqs done before applying gives u a better shot of getting in :) good luck!

My last name starts with an M, but my app status for sfsu changed to "congratulations, you've been conditionally admitted".

oh wow... you're right kayellow. They must have extended everything since I last checked late last fall cause I emailed the coordinators and they told me I would have to apply the next fall/spring. That's just... retarded. I wouldn't mind commuting to east bay either meh.

anybody know if the nursing school will accept AP or IB scores? i know they take AP statistics and English but what about AP chemistry? also do they take other credit scores like CLEP exams and such?

Thanks, ro'smom! Yeah, you're right. Thanks a lot for the encouragement! But just in case I don't get in state like I'm pretty sure you did, I have CSM (I got accepted to their nursing program). I'm really glad that I got in this program. Thanks a lot! :)

hello kayellow...i too, have a conditional acceptance status because i have one more prereq to finish. like you, the sad thing was when i scrolled down the page i found that my primary major was changed from nursing to kinesiology, my second preferred major. at first i thought, great i'm accepted in the nursing program, but after seeing that my major was changed to kinesiology, my heart fell on the floor :cry:.

i guess we'll have to wait for the letters this coming week. goodluck to you and to the others who made posts in this thread.
