San Francisco State University (SFSU) BSN Program

Has anyone gotten a response from the SFSU BSN Program? I emailed someone a while ago and they said it would be rolling around sometime between April and May (how vague :zzzzz). I am just a nervous wreck as everyone else waiting for their ACCEPTANCES (positive thinking!). I think I'm going insane checking the website once or twice a day :banghead:. I've read somewhere around this forum that people have already been admitted or denied into the MSN program and the Accelerated BSN @ the Canada branch, but I applied at the main campus.

thanks for the clarification. i wished it was 2 years too, but 2.5 isnt so bad. it still sucks how in the end i'll still be in school while the rest of my year is already out and working (hopefully the econ. will pick up when we're out). doesn't help that i took 3 years to complete my pre-reqs too. i changed up from biochem preparing for anesthsiology asst grad work =\

do you know if you got in sfsu's program? what were your stats?

at the time of my application i only had 2/3 of my anatomy/physio series done, with none of the other major pre-reqs started other than english, speech and maybe small stuff like nutrition and psych/socio. I think I roughly had a 3.78 at the time, since thats what shows up in my application status for sfsu, with 2/3 of the supplemental criteria.

Oh I thought it was only 2 more years. I think it is 2 more years, the fifth semester is really short and can be done in the summer, I believe.

well, i guess nobody got any letters today. even though i ve been told i got in, i don t think it will really sink in until i get that letter in my grimy little hands.

OH MY GOSH!! False alarm, everyone!! I got admitted to SFSU's school of nursing for the spring 2010 semester. Maybe that's why my primary major changed from "nursing" to "biology". those who are starting on the fall semester still have "nursing" written on their mysfsu accounts. YAY!!!!

aha, so that s the way it works. Well, congrats kayyellow, that s so great. I got my letter today too and am starting in the Fall. I m so excited. It s too bad the nursing dept. didnt explain how this all works ahead of time so as not to freak everyone out like this.

especially you kayellow. i know that you've been hit pretty hard even though CSM was an option.

congrats, ug33! my best friend is starting in the fall semester at sfsu, too. you'll most likely be classmates :) it's weird...i actually phoned the admissions office and they had me talk to my admissions counselor. she told me that i didn't get accepted, and i also received an email that says that i didn't get admitted. ;o but it turns out that I did...so I guess nothing's final until we get out actual letters :)
